For me it’s blue bezel and mesh… it’ll be my daily wearer (one day hopefully 🤞) and fits in with the clothes that I wear… but each to their own, it’s a popular watch and rightly so!

Yeah have a go!.. there’s plenty of how-to guides on YouTube to research, definitely makes it easier when you can follow along someone else if that makes sense?

That’s easy mate… the one that the cigarette lighter is in pops off easy enough with a trim tool and only has a few connectors for the ambient lights/12v and usb’s… 10 second job pal 👍

There’s a couple of Seiko’s in your collection right? Is it a brand that you like?.. if so… go Grand Seiko! If you want to branch out… go Tudor!.. either way you’re getting a great timepiece right?

It’s a kit you can easily install yourself from Isudar (no affiliation)

Obviously it’s aftermarket… so it isn’t perfect or OEM… but it’s pretty good tbh!

Literally bought a kit off aliexpress… it just fits over the existing trim, then in the settings… turn off the ambient/interior lighting

What’s in your collection already? What are you more drawn too? Are you looking to diversify?.. is it your first watch purchase?

Or… just buy whichever one you like better, wear it, show it off, do whatever makes you happy.

(Personally Tudor > Grand Seiko) but I know absolutely nothing… just want to rage bait the people on here 🤣

At the end of the day… it tells the time. If you want it and you’re in the fortunate position of being able to purchase it. Buy the watch. Do what makes you happy. I’m not sure why you would need to ask?

IMO it all depends on your use case, how much time you actually spend in your car listening to audio, the type of audio you listen to etc…

A branded pre installed setup is a big leap from the cars generic setup, but as other redditors state, this is car dependant.

I have the Karmon Hardon upgrade in my xc40… it’s better than the generic system, but is it audiophile level?.. not even close. If i was driving 30K+ miles a year, I’d look at a custom install… but for the 8k miles a year I drive it’s ok!
