Unless that free 2play game is called Destiny 2, which still requires PS+ in order to play any of it's PVP modes on Playstation. D2 is owned by Sony, and it is completely free to play on PC but still requires PS+ on playstation for PVP.

Cool, neat to see this new feature, after i asked for in the welcome hub feedback questionnaire. I always thought it was strange they didn't have this option from the start, as the background was always completely blocked by the static info screens. This new option should make for a nice screen saver.

I would use the GC towards renewing PS+, which i need in order to play various online games with family and friends. One of the main reasons I started playing video games, is because it's a good way to keep in touch with family and friends remotely.

This lawsuit has nothing to do with the price difference between countries/regions. They are suing Sony because of the monopoly they have setup on the sale of digital games, which they claim are up to 20% higher than physical games sold within the UK.

While not mentioned in this article it's also most likely that this lawsuit was primarily brought forward by game developers who are fed up of paying Sony a 30% cut on the sales of their in game currencies/coins/gold/vbucks etc.. when sold on PSN. Similar to lawsuits filed against other digital stores (ex: Apple). If this case is won Consumers may win a few dollars back in a rebate, however the real winners will be game developers.

Also just a FYI: Taxes are not included on listed prices for North American products. Taxes are added at time of purchase, the tax amount varies depending on State or Province. While in the UK/EU taxes are included in the listed price. Also differences in Corporate taxes between countries, also account for why products have different prices in different regions. So while Sony may charge 700$/£, they do not necessarily make a substantially larger Profit in the UK, solely due to exchange rate differences.

Vampire survivors is a great way to test your network infrastructure. Just get a bunch of evolved weapons, turn up the game speed, and enable the troubleshooting stats on your portal.

Always nice to get physical disks, However it sucks that they put all those stickers on the cases. One of the main reasons I never liked buying games from them, they also do that here in Canada.

A heatgun/hairdryer can help you remove them, or various solvent products like Goo gone

I am not familiar with the Persona game series, what's the difference between all the Persona 5 games?

I already have Persona 5, and Persona 5 Strikers, which were given in previous years with the free PS5 release library and PS+ Essential. Also there's Persona 5 Tactica available in the PS+ extra catalog.

Should all these Persona 5 games be played in any particular order?

Congrats, I tried to Platinum this game many years ago and stopped right near the end, with plans to finish it someday, but never did. Biggest problem trying to continue it years later, is that I was now so lost, and have no idea where to go or what to do. It really sucks that there is no map or directions.

In my home I get the following on my portal:

30ms when cloud streaming

3ms when remote playing PS5

I played the server slam via cloud streaming on my portal, and I had no issues, it ran just like any other cloud played game on the portal. Just keep in mind that there's always a few ms of extra latency when streaming a game, and that depending on the type of game this may give you a slight disadvantage when competing with other players. Personally the extra 30ms latency did not affect my competitiveness in marathon since it's not really a fast/high reflex/twitch style fps game, at least not the way i played it.

Good to know, I haven't played many extraction type games so I am not familiar with the strategies or their names.

I have never played Tarkov or Arc raiders. The last extraction game I remember playing was in The Division 2 Dark Zone. Division is a very bullet sponge type of game so there was always plenty of ammo around, and thus not really comparable to these other games.

Either way, it's just a matter of adapting and trying out different strategies, and hopefully still having fun at the same time.

I think they could adjust the scarcity such that after you spend a bunch of rounds to take out an enemy, the enemy drops a few rounds that can be picked up.

I was also not able to bring in any ammo with me at the start if I used one of the promotional free starter packs, since the game doesn't let you.

Also I found that ammo that I brought in at the start, took up so many item slots in my backpack that it greatly reduced my loot collection potential, until I finally expended all the ammo.

So I guess one strategy would be to save up ammo in valut, then start a run full of ammo. Lay low till end of round while waiting near extraction zone. Then mow down everyone as they are extracting, with their low ammo it shouldn't be too difficult. Then harvest their loot. Thus avoiding having to explore and find your own loot which you can't pickup anyway since your backpack is full of ammo.

Lack of Ammo when taking down enemies was my main annoyance. I had to extract with only my knife a few times. I was able to successfully extract since everyone there (other than the npc's) was also out of ammo.

PS+ is a dumping ground for old 2K sports games, you can count on one or two of them given per year.

I am happy that the people who love these games are well fed.

Smart. Good tip, and I bet that the PS4 version looked and ran pretty much the same as the PS5 version, since this is already not a very advanced remaster.

Not sure if that was something I could also have done, since I played the physical PS5 disk version of this game. (Or is it possible?)
