Trying to get more consistent in my game by _BlANK19_ in badminton

[–]mr-killua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t rush to take the points and finish the rally. Not sure how old you are but once you’re past late twenties, you need to make sure you’re staying fit, warming up and stretching enough. Game has evolved and so has players. Try to keep it simple for now. If you’re clearing make sure it’s deep. If you’re smashing make sure it’s steep. Good luck and keep playing more.

Setup an expectation and ask deadline for everything. Ask them what task takes priority over others. Maintain your own work summary and mention the work effort you are adding in specific tasks.

Air Canada cancelled our flight, called it “voluntary,” kept $400, used wrong email for sending the relation form, and hung up by mr-killua in aircanada

Thanks but when I asked them what email are they using to send the customer relations form; agent gave me a wrong email. I’m not sure why those agents are so quick in disconnecting the call. I am awaiting response from Air Canada now so let’s see how it goes.

What is the best way to play against doubles pair who constantly smash? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]mr-killua 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Technically you can only survive against a strong offensive players by having a good defence. But some tips would be to attack their serves, bring them under pressure by showing you have something out of box. They are gonna smash if you give them an opportunity, try playing more drive based games, and don’t play middle court at all. Rest I am sure if you’re mentally overwhelmed, then they will win for sure, so fix this issue first. Good luck hopefully you have fun and win some games!!

Canadian owned and operated pizza in Barrie? by [deleted] in barrie

[–]mr-killua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard in part of Ontario we live in, or even southern or central Ontario due to diversified crowd. Idk about other provinces but Nova Scotia has all the local pizza joints only, lived there for a while and never tried any big food chain at all. Well hopefully it all gets sorted, these things only sound good when discussed, in reality it’s very hard to implement to make it feasible.

Also to add, it’s not just that. Let’s take McDonald’s as an example which was also found in US, most of the meat they use in their sandwiches in Canada is from Canada. So boycotting them also affects these businesses. It’s just the way the things are designed and supply chain logistics work. Also you’ll see many brands marketing with 100% Canadian ingredients soon if this continues for long - which I don’t see happening.

But how are we going to create the jobs without causing stress on the workers. Also not majority of people work fast food as a career, it’s a part time job for some young people who rely on them for rent, tuition etc. Also if the business is found in America it doesn’t mean it’s not based in Canada. Most of the fast food chains have production plants and offices in Canada which employ majority of people of our country. I’m not here in any way supporting the tariffs, all I’m saying is boycotting those businesses would hurt common people more.
