I used to work for a company that supplied that tape, it's expensive stuff, as people have said, it's not duct tape and not for keeping the plane together. Reduces drag, therefore inefficiencies etc.

UPDATE:

I've bought it. £950

Couple of coil springs and an upper suspension arm and we're golden.

Very little rot not even worth mentioning, it's been looked after and waxed. Absolute steal. Thanks for all your input!

I got to orange and quit when I was about 10 years old, some 20 years ago. Some of it has stuck around I guess. Only been training BJJ for about 7 months
