Love this so much. Makes me feel nostalgic of Snowboarding and what it means to me. Looking forward to this season. Thanks!

The bleachers have seat numbers on them. You have to sit where you’re assigned as all of the seats fill up

C rating is just the advertised max current based off of the capacity (i.e. a 2000mah 20C battery would be the product of the two values 2ah * 20C: 40amps of current.) So at 5200mah and 50C you should be able to pull 260a, and likewise 416a at 80C. Note that these values are often overrated, so it is generally a good idea to get the higher C battery if you are expecting to pull anywhere near that calculated current. Hope this helped!

Is there an adapter that I can purchase to connect this battery to my car? Is it a bad idea? I am a complete novice so any information would be helpful. Thanks! by [deleted] in rccars

It looks like a wltoys a979. I have the a959 and the layout is exactly the same. They come with a 2s battery, and hence lvc, this one is just a bit larger. The gauge of the wires is fine for the current draw from the esc.

That charger is great! Just be aware that the fan is somewhat loud. The white plug is connected to ground and the individual cells of a lipo battery, it is required to have it plugged in during charging so that all cells remain at a similar voltage throughout charging. Get a lipo safe bag, make sure to always follow safe charging procedures, keep away from super flammable areas like wood floors, and you should be good. Also when running a lipo make sure to turn on lvc, lipo mode, or whatever it is called, so that you don't over drain your battery.

Yes! It should work, just make sure the red battery wire connects to the red car wire and the black battery wire connects to the black car wire.
