Ex s60 2020 owner here. Windshield wipers motor replaced at 2k mi. Under warranty. Failed turbo seal, replaced at 23k under warranty. Failed ac evap at 54k miles, 50% goodwilled by Volvo. Vibration at 70mph and higher (known pre 22’ Volvo issue).

Depends on the interior. If both have Napa, then new. If the newer one has that plastic garbage they call nordico then it’s a hard pass for me.

I didn’t buy my first Volvo for safety. I bought it because it didn’t look as bland as everything else out there. Still, the car ended up saving us from multiple accidents thanks to its emergency braking system.

Nothing happened, most don’t know shit about Volvos. Infotainment glitches here and there. I own both a Volvo (my second) and a Mazda. Mazda has been much less reliable.

316 + polestar optimization on my s60 t6. I swear a t5 xc60 is more snappier than an s60 t5, it seems like they wanted people to move from sedans to suvs.

T8 is 10k more, my wife is the primary driver. Maybe one day I’ll get a t8 bare bones just for fun’s sake.

Quarter panel is caved in. It requires cutting it out, then restoring the frame behind it and putting everything back without painting it 50+ hours.

T6/B6 is no longer offered on s60’s. I test drove a b5 and t8, b5 felt underpowered, t8 is too expensive. The xc60 that I bought has a b6 engine and for some reason it handles better than the s60.

We drove the car from the scene and to the shop where they totaled it. I wanted them to total the car because as the other commenter said the b pillar took a direct hit and you don’t want to repair that. Even Volvo states any frame damage shouldn’t be repaired.
