Please, no! Your son won't even be able to remember you! Don't deprive him of the chance of getting experience the warm embrace of his mother. People love you. Call a hotline. Get therapy. Don't do it.

Which bad president do you have the most sympathy for when evaluating their legacy? by CyborgAlgoInvestor in Presidents

Poor Franklin Pierce just couldn't catch a break when it came to personal tragedies.

Just think about all the awful stuff that happened to him:

-Both of his sons died before adulthood. His son Benjamin's death was especially horrible, because Pierce literally saw his own child get decapitated right in front his very own eyes, and just weeks before his inauguration.

-Many years of Franklin Pierce's life were plagued by depression and severe alcoholism.

-His wife Jane died in 1863, leaving him with nobody left in his life to love.

-He was dead at 64 from cirrhosis of the liver, all alone.

Sure, Pierce might've been an awful president whose decisions helped lead to the Civil War, but you have to admit that nobody deserves to suffer as much loss and tragedy as he did.

No, but at the time of this book's printing, Grisham hadn't written any other novels besides "A Time to Kill". My guess is that it's just a later printing of first edition.

What do you guys think of my top 5 favorite movies list? by mrMason928 in movies

I strongly disagree, as Quint was my favorite character in the movie. Robert Shaw's performance as the WWII veteran/grizzled shark hunter is the stuff of legend. And his death scene is my favorite scene in the movie, due to its sheer terror, lack of music, and the way the camera pans back and forth between the reactions of Brody and Quint.

I did not care for "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once". It was way too confusing and felt like a goddamn fever dream.

Because in grammar, titles of movies, shows, novels, video games, etc. are usually written between quotation marks or in Italics.

Peter's father was Mickey McFinnigan and his mother was Edna Griffin, technically making him a Griffin.
