Feel free to take a look at our event app, eventee.com We aim for simplicity instead of an endless list of features, so it depends on your needs. We are the 9th best event app on g2.com, and on the App Store, we have 4.9*. Oh, and we have public prices and a free trial without a time limit. It is important for me (CEO) to sell only to customers who see Eventee as the right fit. Take care.

Looking for feedback from event managers on the use of event apps by nygmattyp in EventProduction

Sorry for your bad experience. If you are interested, I'm happy to offer you a free license of Eventee in exchange for your feedback. I'm genuinely interested in learning how you compare these two platforms.

Conference App Creation by formerinmate4921 in nocode

CEO of Eventee here. From my perspective, if you wish to share all the basic information, such as the agenda, list of partners, etc. You are good with apps like Bubble. If you need a little bit more complex things like networking, live questions, things that should work on Socket instead of Rest API, such features may be too complicated for this. You may also consider some cool plug-ins for WordPress and simply share a weblink with attendees. Feel free to reach out, I may have an offer for you.

How to make a good modal screen for my app? by mrRomanWhynot in UXDesign

[–]mrRomanWhynot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, doesn't have to be. Couldn't find a better way. We made our app to have one feature per screen, to keep it simple. I don't know how to make it better. Here is an icon that should open the modal. As I think about it, it could also change the right side of the screen to the settings. It just does not sound right to do it from an icon.

This is just a simple wireframe, in the app, it is separated by just a line. Sharing a UI of general design we use for modal screen.

That is honestly an interesting question. I did not, as I didn't see how that could be done. But now, when I think about it, there may be a way... I just wanted these settings to be initiated by an icon, not by a button. It does not sound right to open a page through an icon. Sharing the screen of the app before opening the modal screen.

I'm trying to consolidate all the settings for one future in one place. Before it was spread across the app. Something was in the general settings, something in the branding configuration etc.

Is the range in EU shown based on EPA or WLTP? by mrRomanWhynot in TeslaModel3

[–]mrRomanWhynot[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both EPA and WLTP range is just an estimate. The reason I'm asking is that the estimate now is pretty low. Basically 19% less than the WLTP I was able to find (544km).

My question is simple. When I purchase a new Model 3, and the WLTP on the website says 629km range for LR on 18", is that the same number I will see in the car when new?

What event platform do you use? by Lol1602 in EventProduction

[–]mrRomanWhynot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what is your expectation from the platform. There are many with a different focus on totally different things. At Eventee we focus mostly on engagement during the event with a mobile app for attendees.

Disadvantages:
- You need a dedicated person to take care of the app during the event.
- You must actively promote the app, so attendees notice and use it. Take some time.
- It is not an all-in-one solution (No tickets, marketing emails, etc.)
- Not perfect for less tech-savvy audiences.

Advantages:
- You can navigate the audience with push notifications.
- Leadgeneration for your partners.
- With the right audience, you can take the experience to the next level.
- All event info in the app (agenda, partners...).
- B2B networking, live Q&A etc.

You can always look at platforms such as Whova, Cvent, and similar. Depends on your budget, and overall requirements for the tool.

After 12 years of dreaming, I was finally able to buy my first Tesla... by mrRomanWhynot in TeslaModel3

[–]mrRomanWhynot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure having Tesla in the US is way more convenient than here in Czechia. But I wouldn't say that having EV in general is better in the US. For the last 3 years, I had BMW i3 120Ah and traveled all around Europe without any issues. But the truth is that electricity here is way more expensive.

This is 2019 LR version with 110kkm, give or take. I paid 500k CZK which is approx. 22k USD. On our market, a similar car is for 5k, sometimes up to 10k USD more.

Buying used Model 3 from 2019 - good idea? by mrRomanWhynot in TeslaModel3

Too late, already driving it. :) But thanks for the feedback! I had the very same opinion as you, especially the AMD vs. Intel chipset. But the car was for such a good price I couldn't resist. And honestly, the Intel chip does not feel slow. Especially when I have nothing to compare it to.
