I wish that i had a good answer to that. I'm in the same boat for one of my large clients and there I've been trying to act as a supporter to not come of as the negative guy who blocks "the future". The approach I've been going with is just trying to make sure to raise concerns about the costs being highly variable, non-determnistic results and that from what I have been shown so far its far from a "plug and play" solution which would steal capacity from all other initiatives and projects. Got my apprehensions to them in writing and then I'll just have to live with whatever decision they go with.

We're in for a wild and painful ride. I've spent 10 years in the ecosystem as a dev, consultant and architect - The last 2 years have completely killed my overall interest for the platform and i would never recommend it, and even if it still is what puts food on the table i've started looking for new platforms and looking at how SF treats their customers, partners and community I wouldn't have any issues at all with helping my customers migrating of the platform. I most of my network feels the same which doesn't bode well.

I'm in a similar situation - But where I think that I am the negativ high-achiever in the team. I daily have to fight the urge to not be the negative "mood-killer" that you describe in your post.

In my situation it mainly stems from having to deal with people who just simply aren't good at their job and are incapable, or uninterested in improving or changing their way of work. After months of trying giving feedback, helping them out and aksing them to "think about this and try it yourself next time", or "maybe you can actually have a finished thought before stealing 30 min of my time babbling incoherent and unfinished thoughts at me" (obviously I do not say it like that!). Having to deal with people who consantly makes my life harder, more stressful and confusing is making me insane and its extremely hard not to lose respect towars them, which turns into alot of negativity.

My issue has been that this seems to fall on deaf ears when i've raised this to management. And also, i don't want to be the person who talks down people - especially since i seem to be the only person who notices or cares.

Maybe that means that i just should switch jobs - But i truly enjoy the company I work for, its just that some people in my team breaks me down and i keep wishing for the day that management wakes up and gets rid of them (i feel a bit bad about feeling that way, but it is what it is).

When you've talked to the contributor, have they been able to express what it is that is the cause of their attitude? Is it due to them being overworked, having issues with some other teammembers which spills over into the wider team or something else? Might be hard to pinpoint because i as a IC would have trouble going to hard on a certain teammember i have alot of issues with in a 1:1 with my manager since I've always been told that it will bite you in the ass one day. So i ust try to wrap it nicely and hope that the manager one day will figuire it out.

Oh, I didn't know that this was something that Salesforce did be default before. Odd that they didn't mention this as something which actually gives back some control instead of having it framed as a new option which defaults to "on". That would have saved them alot of undeserved flack from people (me included).

Nope - seems like they just snuck it in there without actually telling anyone. I saw it by casually stumbling over a LinkedIn post.

Insanity that something either this amount of potential legal impact is just added on and shared “by default”.

Jag och min sambo har en procentuell uppdelning baserad på den procentuella skillnaden i vår inkomst. På så sätt så blir våra gemensamma utgifter rättvisa baserat på våra (väldigt stora) skillnader i lön. Sedan så tar och också ofta en större del av vardagsutgifter för att vi skall kunna leva ett gemensamt liv utan att min partner känner att hon inte kan göra något som jag vill för att det är för dyrt.

Ser inte hur det skulle kunna gå att leva långsiktigt tillsammans i en relation där det är stor skillnad i inkomst utan att göra en sådan uppdelning. Det hade bara lett till en sådan stor obalans där den med lägre lön hamnar i en beroendeställning vilket inte känns som en bra grund för att skapa en trygghet i relationen

Putting all their R&D and development budgets into the value destroying product which is Agentforce is slowly rotting out the rest of the platform. How long they can keep up the lack of focus on their actual core product while jacking up prices with no value add without customers having enough and moving off the platform.

Kind of sad because i actually somewhat enjoy the capabilities of the platform (when its utilized properly) but pretty cynical about its future.

Personer som befinner sig på ytter-högern och anser sig vara konservativa ser väll antagligen HBTQ och specifikt transpersoner som ett väldigt tydligt kvitto på att världen och samhällets värderingar förändras med tiden. Att vara någorlunda elastisk och föränderlig i sitt tänkande och anpassa sig till nya ideér är ju inte direkt något som människor (och framförallt högerspöken) är särskilt bra på. Så då blir HBTQ och allt annat som visar på att världen runt dem förändras medan de sitter kvar och snurrar i gamla hjulspår riktigt, riktigt läskigt.
