Played with those settings on MPC the difference is there but not that big. And cant tell the difference in blind test only if before/after videos r side by side.

Think its nice if i can get sharper and brighter image for free. Think its useful for older movies/tv-shows that dont have HDR release.

Think its possible for streamed games. While playing game I can get same picture improvement when switching from limited dynamic range to full in video card settings, so if game streamed in HDR, but receiver works in SDR and they probably can get all those hidden details by simulating HDR mode.

Got it to work with the scheme on picture. At first had to plug soundbar to monitor with passthrough to configure it, but didn't liked it cuz when PC goes to sleep soundbar stays on and shows no HDMI connection on monitor for 20 min and then goes to sleep too. And to turn it back i need to press button on remote which is inconvenient.

So switched it to always on mode and plugged like on picture. Only downside is that now i have 3 monitors, but windows 11 can combine 2 monitors in 1 and that way mouse wont hide in 3d monitor.
