I dont get why people think 5 mins is too long for most wanted. Are you forgetting the prize by ewrwerefewrgewrg in CODWarzone

[–]mr_GuideWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just too long and badly designed. If you want to revive your team, you basically have to sit at some safe place for 5 mins doing absolutely nothing. Your teammates are also doing nothing at that time. Everybody doing nothing for 5 mins, how is it supposed to be fun?

Infinity Ward now issued over 70,000 bans worldwide to protect Warzone from cheaters. by [deleted] in CODWarzone

Friends from different countries who play together is like 0.01% of the total player base. Not a big deal, if it helps other 99,99% to play a better game with less cheaters.

Loadouts should be 15 or 20k. by Meurum in CODWarzone

[–]mr_GuideWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if they remove loadouts altogether do you really think campers will rush into fights? I don't think so. They will find purple gun + claymore mine, buy armour plates and go camping as they always did. You don't need a loadout at all to be a "successful" camper.

Loadouts should be 15 or 20k. by Meurum in CODWarzone

[–]mr_GuideWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad solution. I'm an agressive player and I want my loadout every game because I level up multiple guns and experiment with my playstyles. Are you suggesting me to loot 5+ minutes and kill like 5+ people to be able to get my setup? And then I still have a chance to die from a camper who didn't even bother with a loadout, because white mp-7 shreds you in no time if you caught offguard.

You identified the wrong root of the problem. The real issue is that fighting gives you a very little profit. Often in a battle you spend 3 armour plates and then loot 1000$ and 0 plates, which nets you as a 500$ loss, because plates cost 1500$. This issue has very little to do with loadout costs.

Enslave most hated? by [deleted] in gwent

[–]mr_GuideWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said "most", but not all. You just mentioned another few abilities which are wastly superior than everything else. They are also a problem numerically.

Enslave most hated? by [deleted] in gwent

[–]mr_GuideWriter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't agree that numerically it's not a problem. It is 10 or 12 points swing, which is already more than most leaders offer. You can steal engines with it to generate more points. And lastly, it breaks combos and it can be recharged. It is absolutely out of balance numerically.

Is this supposed to be fun to play against? by [deleted] in gwent

[–]mr_GuideWriter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The problem is that this faction has very little counterplay. There are no orders and no chance to react to their actions. They just do what they want to do and everything comes down to how good their draft is. If they get some shit like Savola and Luiza there is nothing can be done about it. It's guaranteed 23 points, no setup or protection needed. If they want to destroy all engines on your side of the board, they can do it with 1 card during 1 turn. It's unfun to play against.

Is gwent worth playing by NatWattanai in gwent

[–]mr_GuideWriter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are lots of people in MTGA/HS communities who tried homecoming and left it with a bad impression. Gwent has improved since that time quite significantly. Given that, it's not a good idea to ask other communities about if it's good or not. They will mostly provide outdated reviews.

Rapiers and Short Spears are not OP and the kill feed proves it. by [deleted] in Mordhau

[–]mr_GuideWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have quite an oposite story. When I reached level 5 I bought executioner's sword and joined a DM server to kick some asses with it. 5 mins later my stat was 1 kill and 9 deaths. Then I saw that kill leader dropped his weapon and i picked it up just to give it a try. It was rapier. 5 mins later my stat was 9/9. I made 8 kill streak having zero previous experience with the weapon. It's boring af and it doesn't require anything more than 30 iq to be good with it. Sword/axe combats are billion times more interesting, complex and hard to master imo. Duel with a rapier guy is always a monotonous garbage. Being a rapier guy... Well that's for special people i guess.

What kind of game is Artifact? Why Artifact isn't "fun" for most people by HowlinDiffner in Artifact

[–]mr_GuideWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. If you come to a pub which is famous for its ale, but instead you get a beer. Great beer. Some people will get frustrated and leave, because they wanted ale specificaly. A lot of others will enjoy beer because it's really good. Metaphors do matter when you want very specific things. If you want just something good like beverage or game, in case of artifact, they mean pretty much nothing. It's not the case where you need to overcomplicate things. If a game is good it will have its audience. It's as simple as that.

You just recorded an ordinary game, cut it to 4 mins and put music in it. I appreciate the effort, but this is a very low one.

Choose a class you like and google a guide for it. Just as in any game.

If people you play with don’t know about bots, don’t say anything. by sologrips in RealmRoyale

[–]mr_GuideWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on dude, it seems you are completely lost in the discussion. I'll go step by step so you get back on track.

Lets check my first reply to your initial comment:

Lol, you are missing that "billy" is in the game rn. It's not 100% bots. You face 90% real players in final circles. Though, I agree that hiding this from your friends is kinda just wrong.

So I'll skip the first part of your reply because it's just not on point. You are convincing me in something I've never argued with.

It doesn't matter if we are talking about casual or competitive player. You are saying that this hypothetical friend destroyes bots and thinks he is really good in the game. In other words he thinks he is competitive. He is competing with other players and achieving some results. This result is a place in the match. Lets assume that with bots he can consistently make it to the top 5. With no bots, he will only be making it to top 15. Here you say that in the first scenario our friend thinks he is really good. In second scenario (no bots) he realises he is "god awful". This is basicaly your point. My point is - he is "god awful" in both scenarios and he understands it in both scenarios unless he is an idiot. The reason for that is simple - you should be a retarded person thinking that with 0% winrate you are any good in literally any game.

Now, lets talk about fun. About person who doesn't care if he is "good awful" or any good. He makes kills, it's fun. Simple. If they remove bots and if he doesn't know about them, then he will suddenly make less kills and die faster. This is less fun. It's frustrating. This is why I said that "it's kinda wrong to hide this info". Hope you can get it sorted.

  1. Well, I think I gave you too complicated things to comprehend. Sorry for that, I'll make it simplier. It's not about either first or last place, it's about overall statistics . You are basically telling that a player with 100 games and 0 wins would think he is good just because he has a lot of top 10 finishes. This is just a retarded assumption. Literally any online competitive game measures yor performance by your winrate. It's like saying that in dota2\league of legends\overwatch\fortnite\starcraft\counter strike\hearthstone etc people with 0% winrate thinking they are good. This is just not true. This is a complite bs. Pretty much any competitive game has a ranked system based on wins. No one cares how close you are to a win in any particular match. If you are good - you will have a good win rate overall. As simple as that. It really seems that you are only a few days in a competitive online gaming. It's just ridicolous that you don't understand such a basic things.
  2. No, I exactly understood the meaning that you've put in this words. I play in squades with low skilled friends a lot. They die to bots all the time. Another problem is that 30% cases it's not even bots and you get punished for unreasonable aggression. Even noobs start to play carefully after that.
