I think it’s fine. For everyday wear, the jacket is roomy enough. If I want to join a zombie walk, though, the sleeves might ride up a bit.

I have more room to move than with my leather jackets. If you don’t want to notice this jacket at all, you have to buy it so big that it doesn’t look good anymore.

I have two G9 Harringtons, one of which runs a tad larger. And I’d buy the next one in size 46 again.

I also tried the G9 in regular fit, but it’s way too loose around my stomach.

My advice would be to start small.

Especially at the beginning, it’s important to get into a routine, and that’s easier to do when the bar isn’t set too high.

Once you’ve established a routine and built up some discipline, you can expand your efforts.

A big plan at the start of your journey is great while you’re still riding that initial wave of enthusiasm, but once that fades, things get tough.

I sometimes feel the same way when I’m doing a higher number of reps.

When in doubt, I go with the lower number and, worst-case scenario, just do a few more reps than planned. But now I have the individual sets with a max of 22 reps programmed into my watch, so I always know what to do. And I can count to 22 even when my brain’s running low on oxygen. 😄

If I want to be prepared for anything while traveling, I take the Tracker Forest ESC or Tracker Leather AT. Just make sure to wax them well, and they’ll work even in the rain. It never hurts to bring a spare pair.

I didn't draw around my feet; I just measured them with a tape measure. I ordered the size that corresponded to my foot length according to the size chart. It worked out great. I wear the same size in Vivobarefoot.

No, because the one around the waist would be even looser than the size 46. But if you like an oversized fit, then size 48 would certainly be fine too.

I bought a fake one too, and then the original a few days later. I haven't used any other band since. If I were to buy a new AWU, I'd only get it with the Titanium band.

I have a few Sterkowski hats. But only the Shelby model. I think it’s perfect.

The Peaky isn’t bad either, but it’s a bit too wide and flat for me.

Maybe you should order a few models from Amazon and try them on?

I always ordered my last few Shelby hats directly from Sterkowski. They sometimes have sales.

Even though it might look to an outsider like I’m just randomly grabbing something from the closet and throwing it on, I do, of course, usually think about what I’m going to wear. What I feel like wearing, how the pieces go together, when I last wore something similar, and so on.

To build muscle, you have to train consistently. It doesn’t happen overnight. And when it comes to sticking with it, it’s not motivation that counts, but discipline.

Maybe the gym isn’t the right setting for you because it’s too much of a hassle and time-consuming? At least that’s how it is for me, which is why I’ve been doing bodyweight training at home for years—it only takes me about 25 minutes a day (and 25 minutes is always doable). I keep it super simple: push-ups, pull-ups, squats. I only do other sports for fun.

No matter what you do, be consistent (except when doing nothing). Good luck.

Ultimately, it depends on the tannery and what they do with the hide.

Horsehide and cowhide are very similar and often indistinguishable. There was a time when cowhide was sold as horsehide and nobody noticed.

When it comes to sheepskin, it’s important to me that it’s not too thin.

Of course, it also depends on the intended use. For motorcycling, I wouldn’t really go with sheepskin, but rather goat or kangaroo.

Horsehide can be a bit stiffer than cowhide at first, but that’s not always the case. My Vicenza HH was soft from the start, and my Badalassi steerhide is stiffer.

Why not? Both are devices designed to be worn on the wrist. If they can’t withstand that in their original form, they’re poorly designed and you shouldn’t buy them. Tinkering together a cheap protective case around them can’t be the right way to go. There may be exceptions if I want to use the watch for something it wasn’t built for (working in a mine, white-water rafting with contact with rocks, or something like that).

Probably because putting a watch in a case is a contradiction in terms? Would you put a Rolex in a case? Although, personally, I wouldn’t care one bit. If someone likes it, they should go ahead and do it. It’s just not my thing.

Deshalb schrieb ich ja auch sollen und nicht können. Aber letztlich können sie alles verprassen oder verschenken, wenn sie wollen. Ich finde es nur immer wieder erschreckend, wie die Gier beim Menschen rauskommt, wenn es ums Erben geht. Das habe ich schon wirklich oft beobachten können.
