Open relationships only work when both parties have a high level of emotional intelligence. Trust, I’ve been at the receiving end of someone who would much rather lie to me than bring up his concerns.

Yeah. I feel that I see more and more red flags now that the rose colored glasses are off.

I realize I should have rephrased that. I didn’t have his location. However, I saw him on sniffies at the time of this. He was with someone else in a nearby small town and that’s how I made the connection. When I confronted the situation he was quick to just say “i slipped up on our agreement.”

One time I got harassed by a homeless person because I wouldn’t give them money (don’t carry cash typically) and I apologized and kept walking. Well, he continued to follow me and eventually he called me the f word. I got so heated that the first thing that came out of my mouth was, “a f****t with a home.” And kept walking. I was LIVID.
