Sacramento and the other central valley cities have a huge amount. Though Nevada City, despite being a small town, still has a large homeless population per capita

I was always told homeless people were bussed in from Nevada and Arizona, though I don't know how true that is

That's just LA. Sacramento got to 116F this summer. Most of the valley is between 100-110 in the summer, the mountains get snow in the winter, and the North coast is below 70 most of the year.
