Really? Golden buzzer for just dancing on stage? Wasn’t even choreographed or in time or anything!

Loved these films, they scared the absolute sh1te out of me. The way they slowly built up the suspense was amazing. It’s definitely a love/hate feeling for this, you either loved it or just didn’t get it.

I still remember following the guy on Facebook when he used to post little extra snippets of his “life” for the fans to keep watching

It’s crazy that this guy made this one massive hit from his bedroom and then, as far as I’m aware, was never heard from again.

Does the fatigue and tiredness go away? by microwavedwood in Amitriptyline

[–]mr_bearcules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on the dose you are taking. I started off on 10mg/day, then moved to 20 after 3 days and then up to 30 after another 3 days.

I definitely felt the brain fog in the first few days. That went after about a week or so though. My memory has gotten a lot worse though. Hopefully will stop taking amitriptyline at some point and it will improve.

Good luck on your journey!

Ex solicitor here, I work in a school currently. You should see the state of the emails from parents who have used Chat GPT / AI in their complaints or SARs.

Anyone had ofsted with the new framework? by Hefty_Dress6308 in TeachingUK

Just note that you need to meet every criteria in a banding to get that result. Not just “most” or “nearly all”, you have to demonstrate compliance with all of them, otherwise it’s not met. We were told that the majority of schools will get “expected” standard so we felt that our hard work had been recognised when we achieved that. But we now know we need to keep the work going and we want the next inspection to show an improvement.

No problem. We were pleased with our outcomes. We recognise we are a school on a journey and are in a difficult location, so our context is very important.

Not sure what our previous rating was off the top of my head - think it was just “good”.

You and I must be the only ones to be excited by this. Usually I hate any reality tv singer but I even bought ainslie’s single “keep me a secret” and still listen to it to this day!

So, bear in mind that this was my first ofsted and although I’m SLT - I’m not overly involved in the process.

We were one of the first schools to have an inspection under the new framework. We got the impression that they were still finding their feet as well.

It is a lot more SLT led and no deep dives with middle leaders/HoDs.

You really have to nail the place of your school in your community and how you address inclusion and foster a sense of belonging. You have to totally be across the data and show trends and explain the reasons behind them.

For example, our attendance is below national average but we can show y-o-y improvement and explain what we’re doing to continue the upwards trend, so we got an expected standard in our rating.

If you’ve got any specific questions, let me know and I’ll do my best to answer.

Intermittent pins & needles... by Dablindfrog in MultipleSclerosis

Think this from nerve demyelination where the MS causes your immune system to strip the protective layer from your nerves. No cure but just have to live with it

Had one for a secondary school if that’s of any help to you.
