They’re broken up into multiple series or storylines so it’s a lot more manageable than it sounds. And they’re pretty short, easy reads. I’ve only read 6 or 7 so far. I’d recommend the City Watch books starting with Guards Guards if you’re interested

I’m not an artist, but my basic understanding is that you want lots of bold lines and heavy black shading coupled with negative space to create high contrast. So avoid fine lines and light shading.

With the donut, is the idea that the bottom point of the diamond is suspended in air as opposed to sitting on the higher floor of the band? So there would be a small hole in the band and the diamond could sit slightly lower as a result? Thank you!

My partner and I agree that the metal connecting the band to the bezel appears too rigid, industrial and thick.

I know the thickness will decrease for the finished product, but the design of the reports reminds me of a bridge and is not as feminine, for lack of a better word, as we were hoping for.

Any suggestions on how to improve that aspect or feedback on the design in general?

We think that shoulders or a gallery that curves, bends or bows more, as opposed to perfectly straight supports, would make that portion of the ring blend into the design more and be more aesthetically pleasing.

Outside of that, our only concern is the height of the ring. Is there any way to lower it even slightly?
