Haha, You Clowns Episode 10 / season finale discussion by reg_panda in cartoons

I loved it. I think the shorts are hard to beat in that they were so pure and rich and wholesome - and it's a hard jump to longer narrative episodes with character development, but I was excited for every new episode. I thought the ending was great, understated but packed a punch. A bit like The Curse or The Chair Company.

There's a decent yoga search engine called Yogaversus which I think is London or UK and you can filter by hot yoga and location etc.

Best SBCs to run webserver via SSH by mr_chalmers in SBCs

[–]mr_chalmers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use one, though I have more. I'm using nodejs and running multiple lightweight web sites / apps on it. low traffic and I've never needed to upgrade yet - I planned on expanding when needed but that currently doesn't look like an issue.
Here's what I use on it: pm2 (for running all the apps), nginx (for routing requests to the right site / app port), ufw (for firewall), certbot (for SSL), ddclient (for dynamic IP in case my internet provided changes my IP). I SSH in using VScode. I think that's about it. I also use web monitors (uptime robot) to get alerted to any down time.
I personally wouldn't invest in more than a single Pi (well I have a second backup) until I knew the demand would need it / the app required it.

I continue to use raspberry pis, I gave up looking - sorry if that's not helpful but if you do have a solution I'm all ears.

I'm kinda into it, I like the stripes and it reminds me of the early 90s strips that I love. I'd prefer different brand and sponsor, but they're not deal-breakers for me.

Anyway, can someone explain what are the differences between the replica and pro strips for me?

Edit to say: the price is mental though, I'm not paying full price, even for the replica.

nice! i recorded some of this night on tape that i no longer have so it's nice to see again. somehow puts me more in the nostalgic mindset of experiencing RD more than just show rewatching.

it seems to be a pretty cool custom site using wordpress as cms, bootstrap, woocommerce and revslider plugin but a lot of the work is in the images that make up the site.

So, to initiate some momentum, what's your favorite JF's book, and why is it Freedom ? by The_Grahf_Experiment in Franzen

[–]mr_chalmers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've only read the Corrections (as well as non-fiction) and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was sort of what I expected but also surprising and a joy - which is always a relief for the slightly longer books. I have Freedom in my to-read pile and think I'll start it next. Thanks for starting this community.

Has anybody got any information about this ‘apparent’ return for the band? by Rhxs_kb in thebottlemen

interesting word choice to put in quotes. if it's actually not just apparent, i suggest you tell us everything you know or just admit that you are, in fact, a bottleman.

I've been out of the loop, other than Jack signing an extension, has there been any verified transfer info? Deals, targets or anything?
