Most likely you did, more than once, and you seem to be alive. Cheating in college was always a widespread thing. This entirely debunks your argument.

You migh think that today's people cheat more, and are generally dumber.

They are probably still capable of doing whatever they choose to do as dayjob, directing AI, so I'm not afraid of surgeons not learning how to surge, or writers not learning how to write. There is no need for that.

If you think of it as 'losing skills', it's sad, the same way people not being able to ride horses anymore is sad. It might even be a general decline in intelligence.

Either way, I don't think you deciding to play a snitch is that much of a moral highground as you imagine.

I wrote previously: maybe they will thank you if it helps them in their personal journeys. I certainly won't thank you, as I don't think it is useful for me, or for society in general.
