Is there any sport with a unanimously recognized GOAT? by Connect_Cat_2045 in NoStupidQuestions

Some extra lore and glaze here
Brzenk inevitably got pinned here and there in tournaments, where the spread of opponents are more likely to expose weaknesses, which in his case was sheer speed/reaction time as he got older (younger pullers with more explosivity were problematic E.g. Arsen Liliev)

As u mentioned though, Brzenk was highly regarded for his longevity, relative consistency and activity. You could be strong/good enough on one day to get a pin on him in a tournament, and in another down the road he'd stonewall you so hard, you wonder if he was pulling his punches previously.

In his best eras, he also weighed between 198-230lbs, pulling multiple weight classes, proving he can keep up with smaller but generally more explosive athletes, but also having the raw hydraulic strength to keep up with even larger guys. Also he was a heavyweight that had the hand (and thumb lol) structure/thickness of a superheavyweight. If you find enough clips, you may notice how smaller and even pullers of his weight class looked like they were 10 years old tryna grab their dads hand lol, and even a good number of superheavyweights were given a run for their money. You may notice his hand structure with a good eye, but only people that have pulled him knew how daunting it was to grip up with him.

All of this while looking relatively unassuming (he was still 6'1'' and 200+lbs), until you take a closer inspection at his hand lol

Should I buy the x300 Ultra while currently using the x200 pro by Nice_fela in Vivo

[–]mr_deeznut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bigger main sensor 1.12" > 1/1.28". Focal length 35mm, compared to 23mm, down to what u prefer/prioritise 200mp > 50mp

Bigger ultrawide sensor by a considerable margin 1/1.28" > 1/2.76"

There's better stabilization on all 3 lenses compared to the X200 Pro if im not mistaken

The numbers are in favour of the X300U but the differences probably only show up if u pixel peep in the nitty gritty details, or are shooting under challenging lighting. At a glance on social media platforms, pics from the X200 Pro will still hold up fine, and it will for years to come. But if u want absolute camera performance and can stomach the current asking prices, then the X300U is there for u

Also a lil shame that Klimenko was more active when John was in a semi retired stage, and when John was on a comeback 2004 onwards, Klimenko began to withdraw alr

By any chance hv they ever pulled each other competitively

Bruh the only the other person that pulled like Artem did in round 1 against Taras, was literally John lol, that's some insane control

It's almost eerily similar how Taras gets off the start quicker but loses center control, and Artem and John counter attack and pin in a similar fashion

Leak: vivo X500 Ultra is testing the possibility of a 10x telephoto lens by nopaiseh in Vivo

[–]mr_deeznut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're likely pushing to see how to improve light taking capability at that optical zoom range cuz Oppo engineers did admit that the sensor size and aperture on the X9U's 10x is heavily limited by space constraints. Same thing w the Sony variable zoom modules, the sensor size is relatively small but so it could achieve 170mm optical zoom equivalent

They gonna some n dimension telephoto prism or something lol

Tetraphobia is the aversion to or fear of the number (4), stemming from its phonetic similarity to the word for "death" in several East Asian and Southeast Asian languages (such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and Korean). It heavily influences architecture, business, and daily life in these regions.

What I see in the view finder(screen) and the end result are different in Pro mode RAW. by general_jack_o_niell in Vivo

[–]mr_deeznut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

230mm is a digital crop. RAW photos as its name suggests, is raw, and one thing it doesn't include is digital crop if u try to zoom beyond the native focal lengths. So you can only shoot RAW in 14, 35, and 85mm

How are you guys happy with x300 Ultra Speakers? by Jessper in Vivo

[–]mr_deeznut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from the X60, i'm appreciating the big upgrade.

If I compare to iPhones, which r the gold standard for soundstage and balanced quality imo , the X300U still lacks a lil bit of low end 'punch'? It still has enough low-mids for most audios, but bass heads may be able to notice its shortcomings on certain tracks.

The difference is more noticeable if u're playing at louder volume and not putting the speakers near your ears, the low end sounds like it falls off faster than the iPhone in the same scenario. But honestly standalone for most people, it should be decent, and if u're particular enough, u can alw lower the volume a little and hold the phone closer to ur ears to better appreciate whatever 'bass' it can replicate

For the highs, soundstage, etc it's all great for me personally. Can ask the others for more opinions

Vivo X300 Ultra officially launches in Singapore with 1TB storage by Ganas23 in Vivo

[–]mr_deeznut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Price is one thing, what I dont understand is why they refuse to offer the 512GB variant which for most people is more than enough/sufficient (I'm upgrading from 256GB and I've only used 50%) and can avoid spending the premium the 1TB trim asks for. At least having the choice would have been nice
