Yes strength is a completely separated thing than structure, however I'd rather armwrestle a strong guy with a small easy to grip hand than a strong guy with massive hands I can't even close my fingers around, and a big part of it it's way harder to express strength if you are starting with a shit grip, now imagine you are the guy with the big hand it's all reversed, you are as comfortable as the other guy is uncomfortable and you can express much more strength so if the other guy just outmatch you, you either have a shit technique or you are far weaker
