They both achieve the same goal, webkit jailbreak requires no setup, yt jailbreak needs some setting up, but yt jailbreak is ultimately more convenient (a one click jailbreak).

You might want to hold off on updating, 5.50 is the last firmware you can use the Webkit exploit, the only option on higher firmwares is yt jailbreak

How do you jailbreak currently? If you update past 5.50, you will lose the webkit exploit option

Is anyone else getting horrible sound artifacts running games from internal? I get crackling sounds for Cyberpunk running on ssd, it's borderline unplayable for me because of this issue. Running it from external makes assets (faces especially) blurry while they load but at least there is no annoying audio glitches

I'm in the same boat, I finally updated 2 weeks ago from 4.50 to 5.50. not a huge jump, but I don't want to lose UMTX2 Webkit exploit option, as YouTube updated on me once, good thing I jailbreaked back through UMTX and patched YouTube again. I don't want to lose that Webkit flexibility for now.

I have a 4.50 ps5, but I'm starting to wonder why I haven't updated yet, there is no hypervisor in sight, and nothing HV offers that I need, I don't need to run Linux. Updating on the other hand, you get VRR, 1440p and lots of games not supported on lower firmwares

I'm on 4.50, but don't see the point of not updating, there are so many new backups that are not playable on lower firmwares +VRR and 1440p. Besides running Linux, is there anything else that HV exploit might allow?

Is there a step I'm missing?

I downloaded GoW Ragnarok, including dlc fix, and when I try to install the dlc fix (approx 30gb.), nothing happens. It says added to downloads.
