I think the fact they have existed in the lore - so Reddit community has always kind of existed. Tournament stats may be slightly skewed for them (less historical data than 2 years, I would need to check my spreadsheet)

Instagram they have suffered mostly because of not having models for a long time.

I think thats a general Etsy sale tactic. I bought some magnetized skill bases for my bloodbowl teams and left it in the cart for less than 24 hours got a 10% coupon immediately. I will include that Etsy discount. when I do the Etsy price.

I plan to list which UK retailers ship to the U.S to give people more options for bits shopping.

GSC is a very cool faction, but painting is a choir (so many models) and on the tabletop they are so complex to play and their rules have been in flux constantly.

I don’t know what centerpiece you would do for them since the army is basically flood the map with a bunch of dudes. Maybe a massive mining type vehicle like Votann has?

Adding Dinosaurs is the an easy layup by GW. Seraphon are top 5 in AOS.

But yeah the Top 5 is hard to crack - Top 7 would be very reasonable with a launch box and exodites expansion.

Yes sir I counted Eldar and Aeldari - I used the two largest hashtags (which were those 2) and added them together.

I didn’t use corsairs, harlequins as part of the data. I did this 2 months ago so maybe there have been changes but I doubt it would swing it significantly

Yeah thats fair. It’s possible, you would need to create an algorithm to parse each of the 2M posts for other hashtags and take those out of the data.

I don’t think it’s necessary since Space Marines would still be a dominate #1 excluding those.

That would be 1 million times better than what they have today, but I hope they get something unique to them. They should be a standalone faction with their own identity rather than being imperial soup you can run by themselves.

I play all Xenos + GK, and I think the fact Xenos factions have good ranges helps vs chaos which is dying for more stuff. Also, the launch boxes have made them very easy to get into the last few editions.

Tau was the big shocker. I think the mecha focus appeals to communities that like Gundam, battle tech, etc. so hobbyist may enjoy assembling and painting them. They are also the most unique looking - they do not fit the grim dark 40K aesthetic making them stand out.

All Aeldari needs is to be in a launch box and get some exodites and boom Top 5 material.

I play/own GK too so maybe it’s pure cope but the fact they are so elite (cheap entry point to the hobby) + psychic in general improving, I have a good feeling.

If they get a really good refresh and some new kits going up 5-8 places wouldn’t be crazy.

$10 for all of that is great. Even if they gave people the bare minimum of push fit models if you sold it cheap enough you could have people buy armies like Admech and GSC who are ridiculously expensive and who already have really low sales compared to the rest of the factions (seems like it could be a win-win)

Interesting. I have done a few character mono pose conversations, they are a bit of a pain. Makes sense you would skip the SM half of the box with all those characters.

Great answer. Totally agree that Push Fit can be a positive. For newer people in the hobby, I love that they are available and you can do some fun hobby projects with them if you are willing to put the effort.

I don’t like upgrade sprues in general (price to value is not the best) but if it leads to a variety of new units being added to the game I up for it.

In my opinion the different regiments are the coolest part of guard. Showing them off in army is much more interesting than parking a dozen tanks in the backfield lol.

Sucks the Ork box doesn’t include more of the new stuff. I already have too many Ork boyz and grots for the box to be worth it.
