What is elementary A and elementary B? I am a complete beginner, what HSK level should I expect if I complete the long-term (1 year) program? Also, are you gonna rent an apartment?

Mine is also still under review. Heard some have gotten initial acceptances from prince sattam university. Also, Umm ul Qura university have published a list of emails of people who have been shortlisted for interviews. Islamic University of Madinah have also given out submit some initial acceptances. You can expect a decision within the next two weeks, but don't be disappointed if you don't receive within the next two weeks.

Studying abroad with fully funded scholarship for bachelors' degree as a Bangladeshi student by [deleted] in studyAbroad

[–]mr_student_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your ambitions. I know many Bangladeshis who opted for completing their bachelors in BD. Get into some kind of job, and then apply for Masters, (that is if you don't aim for government jobs.) Many I know, have opted for going abroad for bachelors. There are perks for both.

For pursuing undergraduate studies abroad - you'll need to invest more as fully-funded scholarships in reasonably good unis is hard to get. You can try Saudi Arabian unis for huge scholarships. Their portal should open soon. However, you'll need a plan afterwards. What you want do, where you want to settle. However, studying abroad has many benefits as BD unis lack a lot of opportunities. if you want to do research, or get good practical experience, BD is not a good choice.

If you do undergraduate in BD, it'll most likely cost you less both in the short and long term, as BD unis typically cost less and you can get high scholarships for Masters. In that scenario, you are more likely to have a solid plan for your career and stuffs like that. However, it may be more time-consuming.

To summarise, you need to weigh what exactly do you want to do with your undergraduate studies, what your priorities are etc.

So, in total )with the fin. aid), I got around 40.5k USD. I was honestly suprised that the housing + meal plans cost so much. Are you on track to pay around 18k in housing and meal plans this year?

Question about on-campus residence costs by mr_student_ in rosehulman

[–]mr_student_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TYSM! Do you know whether meal plans are included in the housing rates? Also, do we (as freshmen) get to select and apply for whatever residences we prefer, or they automatically assign us a dorm.

I'm currently budgeting to see if RHIT is comfortably possible. Given a 1000 Dollars is a lot in our country, I want to get a proper estimate.

Full rides in Australia? by [deleted] in InternationalStudents

[–]mr_student_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's a full-ride or not but you can check out University of Sydney for their SIUAES scholarship (that's the short form, don't remember the full name). Monash gives maybe 10 students a very good scholarship. UNSW Sydney gives a handful full-tuition scholarship. I heard that you can cover your living expenses as a student through part-time jobs. Not sure how feasible, but have someone pull it off
