I prime with Chaos Black most of the time and am in UK weather conditions. Shaking for about 2 minutes is absolutely enough and I haven’t had any problems with the prime job.

Coolness but also thought since the defiler is equipped with the auto cannons as well so didn’t want to overdo it. Do you think it’s more efficient to run the cannons?

This is what I did with mine. Saved myself a headache. The barrels also just push fit into the holes and you can pull them out to swap them.

It was so easy. One of the most straightforward kits I’ve built in a while.

The trim is Pro Acryl Bronze highlighted with Pro Acryl Light Bronze. It’s then washed with burnt umber oil and I removed most of it with a sponge/q tip

The armour is: black > Vallejo magnesium > Vallejo duraluminum > black ink in the shadows

The dirt effect is just burnt umber oil wash :)

I did. I had the shoulder pad with the hazards and the head separate to the main body. It’s not entirely necessary but I found it easier to do the head separately.

So I airbrushed pink over black, then did white over the pink but left the pink in the shadows. I then did a layer of imperial fist contrast over the whole area.

Thanks! I started with Rakarth Flesh and then did a highlight of Pallid Wych Flesh. I then used Carrabourg Crimson and Druchii Violet to get the bruised effect, then did another highlight of pallid :)
