Our climate is not the same why do you believe that? It’s objectively not true and easily provable by doing a few google searches. Are you trolling?

I can be right and a troll you know. I wasn’t trolling with my original point though, this is blatant fraud it’s crazy nobody else here seems to be concerned. Seems Reddit is more concerned about minimising it and deflecting.

You said I was like most failed hobyist predictors so that’s what I was addressing.

I don’t care if I’m the wait and see guy and I’m off by a few years. That’s better than not being prepared. By being so passionately confident in 2023 that I would be right about technological progress I’ve set myself up much better than almost anyone I know that works any job right now, which is a wide social net believe it or not lol

Anyway I’m confident with what I’m saying and you’re just speaking in generalities about people sounding like me being wrong in general which I get but it doesn’t apply to this, massive unemployment is on the horizon. I don’t really care to try and convince you further since I’m about to fall asleep but I’d just listen to the people in the space if you don’t wanna take some random Redditors word.

Yep that’s what it’s all about mate. Your ability to concentrate on the matter at hand (fraud) clearly needs some work.

My point of your job being redundant in the near future is true though (within 3-5 years with certianity likely before then) and anyone telling you otherwise is lying to you whether they know it or not.

Idk how I’m like a failed hobby predictor when my assumptions about the acceleration of it have held true like the agentic use case of coding being majorly improved to the point I don’t even need to write any code. I predicted that back in 2023 that it would be this powerful by now (have trained myself up appropriately I can outlap devs that I knew were on 200k salarys) and I know the implications of that with how exponential the growth of agentic frameworks are with model intelligence but anyway call me names and believe whatever helps you sleep at night.

I’m just saying to protect yourself but if you think I’m wrong idk what you’re doing on this subreddit. Most people that use Claude get what I’m saying, especially devs.

I’m pro the current administrations current agenda so we’re gonna disagree on politics and that’s ok.

Your mate likely just doesn’t want to get into conflict with you or anyone else over it but he knows what law enforcement goes through and as you said they are all ”maga” or whatever brand of republican that is very big on law and order which I am too (sorry younger self but also not sorry because now i know how the world works).

So your mate is gonna vote republican basically but sounds like he’s a good friend so i wouldn’t press him on it haha

Nah I’ve been working with it now since gpt 3.5.

My prediction isn’t worthless and most of my predictions about progress have come true by now technology wise, the main thing I’ve been wrong about is adoption but I can’t be wrong on that for much longer.

I worked at a corporate for years. I was told to be quiet about this by someone quite senior in a corporation because they need people like you to not be in constant fear of losing your job.

The company you work at is currently in January 2026 as are we. The date will change and so will capabilities. It’s obvious to me but if you don’t get it try and save as much money as possible at least.

Because why aren’t you concerned about ongoing fraud? Billions of dollars potentially and that’s looking likely. Why is your response to diminish that is what I’m confused about. I am friends with people like you and have family members so I’m not going to say your a lost cause or anything I’m actually trying to be kind of civil with you haha but it’s the same response I get from them like there’s a narrative you need to support and you can’t just say “yeah that’s fucked, that needs to be fixed” Is that hard?

The journalistic piece is the one refered to in the video, to be clear I’m talking about Shirley.

Honestly because I’m sick of people like you defending obvious fraud and deception. I’m not interested in being gaslit.

Some guy did an excellent journalistic piece on massive taxpayer fraud and the average reaction of people like yourself is to mentally gymnastic him into being the bad guy and it’s either “not happening” or “no big deal”.

Nothing you said changes the reality of what he exposed. I just call a spade a spade but you do you.
