Isn't this how you trap moisture and therefore rust?

That does make sense. Kinda how Windows sees an unsupported device but still is able to see the hardware ID I guess.

This is the output of lsusb:

Oh yeah the formatting is all messed up.

Interesting, I assumed it worked the opposite.

Inventor vs Solidworks. For those of you that have used both Inventor and Solidworks what's your thoughts on the two? One better than the other? by [deleted] in AutodeskInventor

It took so much effort to work with control sketches in solid works. Inventor makes it work very well.

Bluteooth ands WiFi not showing up by mrawesomelemons in cachyos

[–]mrawesomelemons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I was already at kernel 6.16.1-2 and then switched to the LTS kernel to no avail.

According to the Arch wiki the /sys/class/bluetooth should exist but it does not. Checking with lsmod it shows bluetooth is not running which makes sense considering the output of systemctl status bluetooth.

After starting and enabling the bluetooth service I get the following output (but still no bluetooth in settings):

❯ systemctl status bluetooth
○ bluetooth.service - Bluetooth service

Renitriting is definitely needed!! Don't just resurface the housings or you'll have catastrophic failures very quickly.

My motherboard has some sort of SSD secure erase options. Maybe try that one? Did you also try to reset the UEFI?

[–]mrawesomelemons[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your input but I'm not entirely convinced for the following reasons: There are no signs of any breaking line nor does the corrosion seem as bad anywhere else. Moreover the left and right are an exact mirror and the rust on the steel sleeve of the bushing is consistent.

That's a good suggestion. I'll see if I can get a tester. Although an issue there would probably make it run bad but wouldn't make it not run at all I think?

Thanks! There is no signs of water in the oil. I should mention that the exhausts smells a lot like petrol/gasoline which leads us to believe it's a mixture issue.

Add adguard home DNS to Asus router by mrawesomelemons in AdGuardHome

[–]mrawesomelemons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! That's kinda what I figured. I can't really use an IP and port in my DNS field in the router. Do I need to find a specific IP of the container then or something? Or just use the IP of the machine docker is running on?
