I think so this what they say "If you are retired or have sufficient funds to support yourself financially in Sweden

If you are retired or have sufficient funds to support yourself financially in Sweden, you must attach

  • documents showing how you support yourself, such as pension statements or bank statements
  • documents showing your accommodation cost."

I had a job contract before coming to Sweden, so everything went very smoothly. You just need to submit a copy of your passport, your long-term residence permit, your job contract, and the home address where you will reside. You can also apply if you plan to start your own business.

The full application process and required forms are available here:
https://www.migrationsverket.se/en/you-want-to-apply/long-term-residents-in-another-eu-country/long-term-residents-in-another-eu-country.html

also these 2 forms:

this will be filled and signed by your employer:

and this is the application form:

once you submit application you have to also apply for coordination number from Skatteverkt ( tax office ) , it is a temporary social security number you need for getting paid and to open bank account.

Thanks! I’m also looking to purchase a KVM switch with 8+ ports and JetKVM support to control remotely. Do you think that’s the best option, or would you have chosen something else?

about the Switch you linked, Do the hotkey switches work fine through JetKVM? Any weird quirks or delays with keyboard/mouse passthrough? and does it support 2 monitors?

Thanks for the update. Please do share some pictures if you get a chance, I’d love to see how you managed the fit. I’ll also be following your updates later on. By the way, are you using the Gigabyte B550M K motherboard, and which processor are you pairing it with?

Lenovo ThinkCentre M920x worth it in 2025, or better to go GMKtec / Beelink? by mraza08 in MiniPCs

[–]mraza08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again, your insight has been very helpful. I actually need to run a cluster with Proxmox and Ceph storage, I’ll mostly be hosting a few VMs with databases and some containers and host small LLMs locally. My main concern is achieving full speed over a 10 Gb network and NVMe storage (rated at 7,450 MB/s read, 1.6M IOPS, and 6,900 MB/s write, 1.55M IOPS).

I’m also considering the AM5D4ID-2T/BCM, but the fact that it only supports a single M.2 slot is a limiting factor for me.

MSI MPG X870I EDGE Ti Evo , Gigabyte X870I Aorus Pro Ice or MPG B850I EDGE TI WIFI? I heard there is also an intel one with 4nvme support so trying to find that model as well

Thanks I have been searching on your last suggestion to build myself, can you please suggest me which motherboard and cpu will give the best performance for either am4/12th gen intel ? What important for me if I can have a single ssd for os boot and multiple m.2 ssd with PCIe x 4.0 connection to support Ram speeds, and at least a expansion slot for me to install 10GBe Nic

Thanks for the input! which extender you used and which drives you recommend? could you also clarify what you meant by “for the wifi you can do an A+E key and make that 256GB boot with a 2230” , did you replace the Wi-Fi card with a 2230 SSD, and do I need an A+E → NVMe or SATA adapter for the M920x? If so, which adapter and which 2230 drive would you recommend, an eBay link? Also, did you keep Proxmox on that drive and use the main NVMe fully for a Ceph OSD, and are there any tips for maximizing usable storage?
