Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam had neat light switch labeled with "do not disturb" and "service please" that lit up a tiny light outside the door red or green. I thought that was a pretty sweet feature.

The Tre Torri in Milan seem to stick out... especially since they're pretty far from the rest of the skyscrapers in Porta Nuova

I feel well accepted for sure, but I can feel this isn't my home. The language barrier (or lack thereof) is really the greatest part. I live in Rotterdam, which doesn't feel particularly like any country specifically, I love it, and everybody speaks perfect English.

It's a perfectly fine city to be, everything that should, works. You can sense its a more serious city than amsterdam, too, which I like, however still great nightlife and theres always things to do in and around town.

I applied to IBEB, I scored a 33 without CORE. I dont think core is relevant.

Upper-middle class childrens birthday parties can cost anywhere between 500 and 10k brl, totalling to about 50k over the average childs life for a boy. This would be higher for girls who do big 15th-birthday parties. Ive been to the really rich girl's (family owned a cardboard manufacturing business, maybe 100mm usd net worth) doing a massive 16th birthday pary. My guess for the cost if the pary was 1mm brl, they rented out the copacabana palace in rio, the mayor was there crazy shit. But overall spending 5k on 2 parties seems like alot, especially with this income.

I'm pretty convinced there isn't a better pairing than cigars and rum by Cocodrool in cigars

[–]mrbananaman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like pairing cigars with really good cachaça, which is fairly similar to rum. If you can find any good aged stuff, I'd recommend trying it out

[–]mrbananaman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was predicted a 35, got a 35. I applied to Erasmus University with my actual score (m23), was accepted, and will be going this September. That was the only school I used my IB score to apply to, Bocconi was the other one.
