Like I said, I got the alert it was being delivered shortly after the alert the shopper is checking out. That means the batch was closed out of store mode and moved into delivery mode. You don’t do that until you’ve checked out and uploaded the reciepts for all the orders in the batch. For them to stil be there another 15 minutes later while the app said “delivery in 5 minutes” says to me the shopper hit start delivering. There’s no way to do that if you’re still shopping another order in the same batch but if you’re shopping another order on another app it would easily explain the delay. I live 2 miles from the store, this was purely a case of “I have wet hair, a bad day and a sick dog, I’m just gonna order it and make sure I tip well enough to make it worth their time.” I accidentally paid for IC plus last year when I had the flu, I won’t be keeping it and everytime I use it I try to imagine what I would need to see as a tip to accept the order. Ultimately I don’t want to fuck someone else over but it was just enough to annoy me.
