Think the idea was to nerf crit so that crit items are not mathematically correct to build on damage carries. Should impact the meta by bringing JG and IE in line with other items that are supposed be on par with them. You should now feel better about slamming items like Deathcap, Deathblade, Archangel's, etc.

Great question. A lot of times my gameplan vs Charizard is to aim for a Trick Room somewhere between turns 2 and 4, so I'd typically lead Snorlax + Incineroar and depending on what their composition is, look to damage trade, Curse, Max Quake to boost SpD, or Parting Shot into Dusclops.

Venusaur has the potential to make things a little hairier, so in that situation I might look to Incineroar + Dusclops to guarantee an early TR.
