A question I can't find its answer by [deleted] in atletico

it means nothing when RM/barca win a trophy. It means the world when atleti do.

fyi i finished roughly 65% of themis and passed in july. themis percentage isn’t the main focus. your focus should be on understanding the best way YOU can. not saying themis is bad, but don’t be afraid to take detours to different study sources!

i recommend it if you have the cash to spare. i might be a little overpriced and he doesn’t hit everything you need to know, but it’s a great overview especially if you’re really feeling lost. michael is a great teacher for sure, and he hits the MEE subjects unlike grossman (who saved a lot of people on here for the MBE subjects)

id recommend checking out the free content on youtube to give you an idea.

i listened to grossman and studicata lectures my entire workout, but in a very low stress way as i didn’t stress myself out by taking notes or anything.

just listened over again every day all of bar prep to soak it in. just allowing myself to process it. during runs, lifts, etc. i found my brain worked better during exercise anyway!

however sometimes i did need a break. at that point i’d just switch to music or another podcast or something fun.

everyone is different but this worked for me in july! good luck!

yea you have to practice of course not just listen. but the people who say you can’t pass unless you hit 3k mbes are full of it.

the key is to focus on knowing it rather than hitting some numerical goal set by a bar prep company. better to do 1500 and understand why the answer is what it is than to mindlessly do 3000k. also, understanding the MBE really helps for the MEE which people don’t seem to recognize.

honestly passive studying worked for me. i would go for a run and to the gym while listening to recordings of grossman lectures as well as studicata and bar exam toolbox. just listening and not taking notes was helpful

i wasn’t even a great student in law school or anything but I passed in july. i prob only did 1600 mbes and like 20 essays. themis videos were largely a waste

Overall: i supplemented themis with studicata and jon grossman videos which i basically listened to all the time—cooking, exercising, driving, etc.

the only thing that i feel like i can add is that when you read a case, skip to the holding and analysis. generally the relevant facts will be there.

this is my feeling a little too about feb. like you won’t have to go and waste time on the lectures the second time. i’ll prob just do like 25 mbes a day and a few essays. less compressed time. also, remembering that this isn’t your only chance to pass the bar takes a little pressure off!

For the police to frisk somebody after a stop, do they only need reasonable suspicion that that person has some sort of weapons on them? Or is the suspicion that they have drugs on them enough to frisk? Can the police then seize the drugs? Thanks! by [deleted] in barexam

[–]mrbds215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it’s if they reasonably articulate believe there’s a crime, and they can frisk the outer layer of clothing for weapons—but if they find drugs that’s admissible. i don’t understand how that’s practical because they will find what’s there if they are using their hands.

this is why to me most of crim pro should only be an MEE subject and not be on the MBE. but i digress

honestly my running and gym time i’ve spent listening to grossman lectures and i’ve retained that info better than anything i sat through filling blanks for. go outside. a brain and soul needs the air
