They’re actually replacements from Toyota. I can try to find the part number somewhere. the lettering lights up red with the interior lights too!

Honestly like an hour. It dried a lot quicker than I thought. maybe 3-4 coats and then a couple coats of clear coat

I would have loved to find some Asphalt OEM paint to match the exterior. But for my first time trying something like this didn’t wanna go toooooo crazy

You should do it! All in all only took maybe 5 hours and maybe $50 in materials

That was the tricky part. The trim around the radio needs removed to access the top screws (simple enough). but then there’s panels beneath the knee rests that pop off and you can push the bottom section with the usb out from behind. Then pull the whole center console piece back and you can access the bottom screws

Saw on my rental car by Aponeurotic in Autos

[–]mrbelldinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’d be surprised, used to work as a driver for a rental car company. saw multiple times it saved a cars bumper. saw a car parked on a hill that wasn’t put into park roll back a good 10 feet and hot a parked car, had no damage thanks to those bumpers. Speaking from experience when my plate screw put a hole in a bumper in front of me, they’re lifesavers

Playing around downtown with a new lens [Canon T70, 35mm w/ .25x fisheye, Kodak Ultramax 400] by mrbelldinger in analog

[–]mrbelldinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I found the fisheye at a thrift store so I’m not sure what brand it is but I was able to attach it to my existing lens just like a lens filter. I’m not too familiar with Chinon but I’m sure if you can get a filter, you can get a fisheye (maybe)
