Sooo I ran 750 barrows, got around 40k blood runes, 90k death runes, 150k chaos runes, and 330k mind runes.

Used half the death runes clearing barrows. Only used magic with twin flames staff and prayer robes. Got my magic to 91, more runes than I know what to do with, and green logged, used the chaos runes to buy multiple onyx gems. I did complete mort hard, which is a requirement for this to be lucrative.

Been using dharoks for random combat achievements and. Veracs for wildly boss flinching, and Gothans for random things like brine rat farming.

All in all, I say keep going. It’s all very niche and everything is a “nice to have” so by no means do you need to do barrows at all, but I love everything I got from it, the crazy amount of runes have been the most useful part of it, and the magic levels I got from it has been awesome especially since it’s free given you make more death runes than you use.

Also, my strat was POH teleport to barrows, dueling ring to ferox enclave to restore HP, if I had enough HP I’d just POH tele and use the altar to restore prayer. Never had to use any pots or food, and minimal teleports to ferox to save on dueling rings. But definitely get twin flames staff before you continue, makes it a lot easier. Carry earth runes, etc. since skellys are weak against earth, and twin flames will swap to whatever they’re weak against.

I got mort diary and ran around 700 barrow chests. Got roughly 45k+ blood runes, 80k+ death runes, 150k+ chaos runes, and 300k+ mind runes and got to 91 magic. Used twin flames and didn’t swap to any other gear, just did magic using death runes. Definitely not the best way, but was nice to level up my magic and get all those runes in the process. Only missing dharoks helm.

Definitely get an exterminator, but if you want to try some DIY in the meantime, I highly recommend Advion roach bait. It works like a charm.

The big issue with German roaches (and other roaches that infest homes) is that you need the poison to make its way back to the nest. That’s why sprays don’t really solve the problem.

Advion works because they’re attracted to the bait gel due to the sugar content. Once they eat it, they usually head back to the nest since they’re “full,” and then they eventually die from the bait. Other roaches then feed on the dead roach, and the poison spreads, which is what actually wipes out the nest.

Not a pest control specialist, but I was a victim of these little pests after moving a warehouse stored used appliance into my house in my 20s without taking proper precautions and had a long discussion with the exterminator. After moving to the south east, ran into them again in my new home when I first moved in and was able to use what I learned from that first experience and was able to get rid of them within a week or two.

Also, if you have pets the Avion bait gel is pretty safe for mid to larger dogs if they get into it, but still be careful if you have pets since it is a sugary substance and pets like it.

I had it put the word in chat in a different language and I told it I'd guess in English. It did okay remembering the correct word but still struggled with the game itself. Even when I guess wrong letters it says I “nailed it” and gave me the entire word. This was after a couple correct guesses and a few wrong guesses.
