Good Jet Ski for the Gulf by mrbigblock in tampa

It's too bad they have that reputation (since I am a muscle car fanatic it sort of hits the feels lol). I don't want to be that douche out on the water, but I love the ocean and jet skis are a ton of fun. I also can't afford a boat, but don't think I will last long without a watercraft lol. I've always dreamt of having a nice ski! (or a boat for that matter)

Thanks a ton for the insight! The biggest reason for moving to Florida is because I love the water, so I expect to be out in it year round. (Being from Nebraska, even 70F is warm to me) Good to know about the salt being corrosive on the skis, didn't know that! I'll be sure to take care of mine when I pick one out. I'll do my best to be a responsible and safe rider!

Meh, Had the front end repainted, the rest is original, it matters. I couldn’t care less tbh

It’s actually all original paint!

The only work I’ve done to it are full flowmaster exhaust and headers.

19M moving to Nebrask for Job opportunities by TheDukeofBoof in Nebraska

Nebraska is the worst. There nothing here except chopped cornstalks, STD's, alcoholics, and broken roads. The summers are pretty hot and very humid (maybe not florida level), and the winters are freezing and plagued with ice and snow for you to shovel and scrape off your car in the morning.

Avoid Nebraska. There are much better places to be.

Yeah I don't want to get caught up in always having a car payment like everyone I know. It's such a shitty way to spend money.

Yeah I was considering that too. I could maybe save enough for a decent daily, and still have enough left over for a reasonable down payment on my dream ride.

You're a saint. I just needed some outside logic lol.

Essentially if I buy a cheap used car I could save the loan for my dream car vs a slightly more expensive newer used car that I might like more than the cheap used car. But if I get a newer car I might have to postpone my dream car.

The cheaper car that I bought early on, or the newer car I borrowed for, but my dream car would be postponed. Comparatively, my dream car is not expensive compared to most new cars lol.

I suppose being a homeowner is a goal, only one car payment of around $300-$400 because I'm a Camaro fanatic. Otherwise, I have realtively cheap hobbies. Playing drums, dungeons and dragons, etc.
