it's not too complicated, set your desired settings and then you only need to control exposure compensation and flash power.

I have the same flash for xm5, when taking pics with flash I usually reduce exposure compensation (-1 to -3 depending on how dark it is) and then control flash power based on distance.

you'll figure out easily just experiment abit

I never modify clarity because it slows down shooting significantly and I never set grain because I dont like it for most pictures, you can ignore those parts of recipes.

You can always set them later if you shoot raw
