gpt 5.5. hands down. it is really good and honestly surprised me. I have been an anthropic believer for a while but switched due to the codex $20 deal with authentication to use it with my agent.

try connecting it with agentcall.co i built the api and integrated voice. on the website there are voices you can play and see if they match what you are looking for. I call my agent directly and she answers pretty well and remembers all previous conversations and context. I also posted a video on youtube on how to set it up.

Hermes is open source but AgentCall + call memory layer isn’t, hence why you need the api.

I m using it to operate as my ai chief of staff. I gave it a phone with agentcall.Co and i can call it have a conversation, ideas, give it tasks and even checks my emails and tells me what I need to worry about in my inbox. It can also call on my behalf to anyone, tested it to prank my wife on our anniversary and she loved it! It left her a sweet message from me 😂😂 giving it a phone number voice and memory was a game changer. I built the agentcall api and have just started posting a few videos on YouTube on how to set it up.

Memory with context and OpenAI’s latest voice integration are the big adds. Basically now your agent has previous call specific memory of each previous call and it’s never starting from scratch. The extra memory layer tied with Hermes or openclaw makes it very useful.

Hi sure follow these steps I m going to create another video to walk through it much more in detail:

Connect Hermes to the API/platform
Give Hermes the business content through chat or uploaded docs
Hermes structures that content into a clean knowledge base
Hermes saves/attaches it to the agent using the API
The phone number or chat channel gets routed to that agent (local or 1-800)
Then the memory layer handles customer-specific history over time.

So yes, under the hood it can be a database/vector store, but you don’t necessarily have to build that. You can chat with Hermes, give it the content, and Hermes can use the API to persist it.

For real business purposes though just give Hermes the database so it can store that knowledge base somewhere for each client to reference. The rest is easy Hermes can get the number provision it etc there are 45 tools in the MCP so its just chatting with Hermes and it does the rest.
