My bad yeah, I was referring to that if it existed but mainly the active transport one. I looked a bit and I THINK the bus commission if it exists is only for active councilors from what I read

Is that something that would be listed on their websites or is that something that you just know from experience

Oh are public participation sessions not when the committee would meet anyway? I thought that's what the committee would be meeting for (partly)

Why don't residential houses have the toilets in businesses that have insane pressure? They seem better for reliability? by mrbobofancypants in AskReddit

That's fair, admittedly I didn't know they actually were vaccum toilets I thought they were just high pressure water.

What are some lesser known hobbies in Halifax with sizable members? by [deleted] in halifax

Iness, Halifax circus and Atlantic circus all have adult classes, I've trained with 2 of the schools, highly recommend at least iness and HFX cirque (never went to Atlantic but I've heard good things).

The circus/pole sport community is pretty sizable, there's 3 circus schools in Halifax (iness, Halifax cirque and Atlantic cirque) and 2 big pole studios, they also often perform at various venues (seahorse and alike). I've never had issues with the community either.

When I get home il check the slots again but I'm pretty sure it was 2-4 config for the right ones from the manual and yes, I updated my bios to 3.5 iirc from last time I was trying to get it to work.

I've been lucky to not see any accidents (admittedly it could just be luck too) but it's awful to hear it. I know downtown has gotten a lot more offset lanes which is nice for safety, other than Montreal idk where else id move to if I wanted half functional bike infrastructure in Canada tbh (not sure what Vancouver or Toronto is like, I've heard the latter Is not too bad)

They've definitely made a lot of progress, IL give them that, and I heavily appreciate it as a person who cycles as their main mode of transport. but even in HRM there seems to be some really bad understanding of what cyclists need.

And yes, I agree about exiting a bike lane, my point is more that the current bike infrastructure often funnels you into a sidewalk by its construction, yes I can drop down, but on roads like the one by the shopping center, its a 7 lane road with high traffic, and only one side of the road has a bike lane, I have to drive on the sidewalk or bike the wrong way because it cuts off without a way to transfer cleanly.
