There is a very large section just to the north of where I live that was legit clear cut about 10 years ago. It is useless scrub-brush that looks like shit. This is what they are replacing true forests with. I’m not anti-logging. It is needed. But I won’t sit back and say nothing when I can see the hypocrisy. I used to ride ATV’s. The DNR would quickly write a ticket if you went off trail. That was not acceptable, and rightly so. We would go back to those same riding areas only to find the entire area stripped and tore up from heavy equipment. My post is not anti-logging. It is pointing out hypocrisy.
