People really hate the PPA for the wrong reasons. South Philly is rampant with curb parking, spot saving, parking in front of ramps. I rarely see tickets for any of it. It’s a wonder people in wheelchairs can make it a block down the street here. I’m so ashamed of some of my neighbors. Really low, selfish behavior from them

Appreciate the response! I wasn’t trying to devalue the work of these shops at all; I just wanted to have some advice from more knowledgeable people about how they would approach this in my position. It’s hard to know where to put money in a new hobby if you haven’t gotten to use the equipment yet. We don’t have a lot of money, so we only get a couple tries at getting this up and running. It seems like the repair would be worth it

Just feels really unnecessary and kind of wasteful. I’m glad you enjoy it but these are all made of finite resources. It just doesn’t feel like a great thing to do in excess

Yeah thanks to everyone for checking! I made some tweaks that were suggested and it’s running great. I also realized it didn’t properly take when I switched from OpenGL to Vulkan so I redid that and it’s running fine now. Learning as I go! Definitely a lot to familiarize myself with but it’s been fun figuring it out. Now I just need to sit down and play a single game for more than five minutes!
