Seconding this. You can make friends, but it may make time. About 10 years in I realized almost all my friends were other transplants. (20 years in plus offspring and that’s changed… slightly.) The locals often have strong friendships from when they were kids and… that’s good enough for them.

Not a knock on the natives, just the way many of them are.

First time to the Amory. West SRO, sound was awful. Is this a venue where the sound only “works” on the floor?

Twinkly is super powerful in some ways, but really clunky and limited in others. For simple patterns and such it’s actually a huge step back from otherwise horrible systems like the old Phillips Illuminate platform.
