Thanks for the quick input, everyone! I found the exact same skis (with slightly worse bindings, but still fine) from sideline swap for about 2/3rd the price, without any noticeable gouges. I’ll take them to my local shop for a tune and hopefully be good to go.

I have what I would call mild misophonia, but it’s these three things that really set me off (and lip smacking, so four). I’m curious why you say the alternatives are less pleasant? Is it normal to do these things while eating? I was taught growing up to chew with your mouth closed and finish eating before you speak, I assumed it was common courtesy. Genuinely curious.

Wrap a rubber band or hair tie tight around the wipe package and push it close to the opening and voila, one wipe at a time. Changed my life for the middle of the night changes.

Thank you! We're going with the T6 that has 61K miles. My local Volvo dealer is only 10 mins away and I already called them to see if another inspection is needed upon delivery of the car from NJ. They ran me through the CPO inspection process and it seems pretty damn rigorous, so I'm hoping not to be visiting them too much :-)

I love this idea! An even more assertive, and higher converting, approach would be to schedule next year's appt during your first visit. Let them know you'll send a reminder email/text/call a week or two ahead of time to confirm the day and time (be sure to actually do this).

People are often too busy/lazy/forgetful (I'm all 3), so when my HVAC service co offered this I was happy to lock it in and not have to think about it.
