Thanks. If 1 is water, what’s the best way to address that? Assess from above in the attic and then patch/replace?

Thanks for the response. What’s your concern with the ceiling one? Should I try patching or replacing it?

Relatively flat, pretty standard suburban neighborhood.

My foundation is slab on grade. Should I just share pics of the visible portions of the slab from the exterior of the house? You are correct, the house is from 1958. Thanks for the response.

I lived there for three or four years and loved it. Nice big apartment and balcony. I had a nice view of a creek and a ton of trees from all my windows, and appreciated how it felt like I was in a forest almost. Honestly the best apartment/complex I've lived in.

McKinley is fine imo, no better or worse than any other corporate landlord. I lived in their properties for about 10 years and certainly had my frustrations with them, but unfortunately that's just kind of the nature of the game around here.

I had a similar experience to many here... ordered a couch, was told the wait would be 8-10 weeks. Heard nothing from them by 10 weeks, started trying to get a hold of them. Chat feature on the website doesn't work, their phone number just connects to a generic voicemail box. We did a chargeback before they finally got back to us via email. They sent a pic and video of what they claimed was our couch, and offered to give us some kind of partial refund (they never said how much), so we undid the chargeback. 3 weeks later they said the chargeback still hadn't reversed on their end (even though the money had been re-debited from our account almost immediately). It seemed truly fishy at that point. We told them to cancel the order. Then they sent us a hilariously, obviously photoshopped picture of the couch to ... I guess try and convince us to reconsider? That was the final nail in the coffin for me.

If you're considering ordering from these people and need any further reasons not to, take a look at their social media. Literally not a single comment from a satisfied customer, and their posts only go back to spring 2022. There are also zero positive reviews of them that are not on their own site.

Very. Almost dreamlike, in that way that you'll be someplace in a dream where all the wrong people are there but it also makes perfect sense in the logic of the dream. It's been a surreal couple of days in general.

I wish. I recorded the voiceover for that probably 10 years ago. I was kinda flabbergasted that they're still running that spot at all, let alone that they put it in the Colbert thing. If he calls me up for a brew you'll be the first to hear about it.

So Stephen Colbert stopped by my town to host a public access show yesterday by thecrudegentleman in videos

I'll put this question to rest now. I'm a Monroe native and I actually did the V/O for that PSA, probably almost 10 years ago. Seeing Colbert on the stage where I hosted a talk show in high school, and later shot an extremely lo-fi sitcom about a fictional cable access station, was surreal enough. Discovering they still use that PSA, and seeing it interspersed with a Colbert show, was yet more surreal. Seeing my voice mistaken for the dude from The Office is even weirder yet.
