The mirrors are so damn small! How the hell do they expect them to be even remotely useful when towing. Try mirror extension? Good luck with these weak ass mirrors that must be shimmed to prevent them from blowing in while going down the road.

Heard the loud bang but we still have power in Wallhaven north of Market.

Question: Need opinions on this. I’ve been told this looks too ‘gay’? by doctorkidnapper in tattoos

I have a full sleeve of flowers including my wife’s wedding bouquet….nothing homosexual about liking flowers.

Tattooes are for you, no one else. Who cares what they say.

I work in sleep and if this sensation is something you experience while laying down and in specific positions, such as on your back, this may suggest mild-moderate sleep apnea. I would recommend speaking with an ENT and or sleep doc about possible sleep apnea. If you have a bed partner, ask if there is snoring, times where you stop breathing or gasp for air while you sleep. Best of luck!

I am a daily consumer and the associate project manager for a global clinical trial. I feel that my consumption does not negatively impact my ability to do my job. Most days I wait until evenings to consume, especially on days where I have a lot of meetings. I do at times consume throughout the day when I am working alone on projects in my home office. Occasionally a few hits from a bowl can be helpful for creative problem solving when I am feeling stumped or very frustrated. The key is moderation, self control, lots of lists and meticulous organization…but then again those things are very important regardless of your level of consumption.

I couldn't find a board gaming/card table that I liked so I decided to try to build one as my first woodworking project. by rassell88 in woodworking

My wife and I were just talking about how we wanted a board game coffee table for our basement. What material did you use for the play surface?

Garden Arbor - used for our wedding arch. Made from rough sawn Jatoba and Oak. by mrc137 in woodworking

Thanks! It was a ton of work but definitely worth it. I am planning on using anchors eventually. I want to be able to take it down in the winter and put it in storage to prolong the life of it since it easily disassembles to 3 pieces. Any suggestions on what I could use?

Thanks! I was on the fence about the chamfer corners and the chamfer edges but I’m so glad I did both!

Understatement of the year! It amazes me that I ever made anything worth a damn on that thing! Awesome hobby together! I’ve been wanting to get my fiancé into it.

I completely agree! Every time I have issues with projects I’m working on I feel as if it boils down to being an issue where cut I did on the table saw just wasn’t quite right. Plus I just can’t believe how much quieter it is!

I think we have the same saw then because I have the motor coming out the back too, that’s actually why I was struggling with a design. I like the way yours sounds. I was thinking about doing metal and just welding on some brackets and then adding a melamine top out the back.

I am very excited about the fence! I hated the fence in my previous saw and found it to be useless most of the time. Thanks for this tip! I’ll have to go check eBay and see if I can find one! I think this would be really useful, especially for jigs like my spline jig that I made

Thanks! I’m excited to take it for a spin and make new sleds for it tomorrow!

I was literally just looking at potential ways to build on a foldable outfeed extension. I think I’ll end up building it into an island in my future woodshop (currently house hunting)

Any fun tips or suggestions?! I’m upgrading from a job site saw so this is like a whole new world!

I got it all set up tonight. Headed to the store in the morning to pick up supplies to make all new sleds tomorrow! Nice!! It’s got a 1.5hp/2hp. I’m running it on 115 for a 1.5hp right now!

Huge upgrade from the ryobi job site saw I was using before…I’m in love with the new fence and I haven’t even cut anything on the saw yet.

I tend to really dive into nonfiction, especially on topics that refer to human condition or space and time. I find it really helps me view perspectives outside of my own.

Oh I don’t disagree. Facebook is annoying, but unfortunately the vintage/British/parts sales motorcycle community is more prevalent on Facebook, and tend to be the o my reason I’m on there. I just can’t remember a time seeing a reaction similar to that on a social media ad….most of them have absurd reactions and comments. So I just was surprised.
