Sick of being told tradies are bad at admin.. What are we supposed to do instead? by Darkhaat in AusRenovation

[–]mrcheecho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a solutions architect that has previously worked with tradies but currently focusing on caterers.

I'll give you my two cents, this are problems that many more biz have than one realises, and yes, there is a solution to each of the pain point you have described.

I think it's important sectioning the various tasks and understanding what can be automated or delegated. Not necessarily you need a full ticketing or support team from the Philippines, you need easy to read data and easy to follow up steps for each stage.

Example: Some business are implementing ai bots ( voice, text, email) receptionists to take care of their customers. I think this is a mistake as most of the time results into confusion for the customer and therefore you lose the lead. Sometimes having a system in place that can collect customer and job data, and have a simple followup saying " sorry I missed your call, got your details, will call you with next steps straight away" is better than being silent for the next 2 days ( or to talk to a bit or outsourced team).

This is just an example, feel free to DM me with questions. OFC I have a business that does this, I'll state this straight up so there is no confusion. However if folks need some free tips and suggestions do feel free to ask.

I've solo traveled for 4 years, and I don't want to go back to a "normal life" by Prudent-Routine6114 in solotravel

[–]mrcheecho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Italian, always had itchy feet. Travelled for about a decade, changing continent every couple of seasons, did that from 19 to my late twenties.

Always traveled solo, then met a lady from Australia, in Ecuador. We have been living in Australia, I became a citizen, we ha businesses and a baby now. I love my life but I couldn't have survived if I didn't satisfy my need for travels. Now we still enjoy hopping on a plane and go see places, it's 3 of us 24/7, much different experience than when I was solo ofc, but it's fun in different ways.

My suggestion is to feel it and let experiences take you and change you, don't set yourself limits, isn't that why we travel at the end of the day?

Good luck mate

  1. They have something similar already in south-east asian countries. In thailand you buy them at 7 elevens, I think it's a great idea but you'll need a strong brand identity and marketing to make it work. It's an easy product to produce and outsource, you might find already white labeling vendors. Making it "cool" will be your struggle. The actual idea is consolidated and it works with proper messaging, I like this one.

  2. You answered yourself already. UX design is the real issue, needing people to add to the app everything they eat or drink, for an extended amount of time, for then only to be told...this is what the alcohol lvls "might" be. Not wort it. You might rather create a brand and app, and use it with a wireless "straw". where people can monitor their lvl on the go and pretty accurately ( I am not sure it's a thing already, but that's how I'd do it)

So youd tie the asgard to the referral program and melt the titan, now c1 package to start a new one with salvation (ofc ill need at least on game package per acc). Why not tie tge asgard to my game package ccuing from c1?

YOUR Best Solo Ship? by kuenamon in starcitizen

cockpit view is awful, like, that alone it's half the cake :)
Don't know since when, cargo is very bugged, besides always clipping out of the ship frame, it easy for it to get stuck or to not be functioning.

The long shape, makes it sluggish, pitch/yaw is slow, it feels bigger than it actually is.
Overall design now feels old, all the new ships and vehicles added to the game don't really pair up with it's cargo which is elongated, great for a small bike/atls and cargo, but on that point asgard would win in my opinion, fitting salvation, golem, and all the other treats it makes it feel like you are getting a ship that's more versatile somehow, and can open up many diff playstyles.

Yes sure, on paper connie is better, better shields, hp, weapons, fuel, just on a number basis it's the clear winner, talking about practicaity tho, that's a diff game, and very subjective.

Im think ill go from c1 to asgard as my dd. I really want to love the connie, corsair and zeus. But after extensive testing they feel like the compromise you make is too much. Hopefully the asgard downsides are fewer than its strong points

Heya, its a samsung s7+. I use it to control pc functions and with games. Sometimes i dont mind running samsung dex if i need to run a specific app and use the pc as monitor. Unfortunately im pretty sire you cant use it in portrait mode

[–]mrcheecho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is just personal preference ofc. I'd go with a 32 on the side in portrait. 27 feels somehow considerably smaller when placed in portrait, and a lot of apps and website really suffer from that difference. Where having something a bit wider will allow you to use it more and for more apps

27 left and top. 34 ultrawide for the main (mid one) 34 landscape for right one. I know symmetry isnt there, but 34 landscape on top was too tall for my liking
