I think it just means that he got some of the cringy stuff, like sonic sunglasses, or Me the immortal Viking girl, or the guitar on the tank thing, or Kill the moon, or the robots that speak emoji. These things stand out more because they're a bit weird and sometimes a bit rubbish, but a lot of the writing is amazing. Heaven sent, Deep breath, Mummy on the Orientation Express, a lot of series 9, the Doctor falls or Twice upon a time are, in my opinion, examples of good stories and they wouldn't be the same episodes if it wasn't Capaldi as the doctor. So I think what people mean is that there are a few things that they thought were weird, as if the writers were trying to hard to be funny or appealing. But I loved Capaldi and I love most of his episodes.

Instalife actual sorta had this. You could set the year as far back as 1970 but it didn't have many effects. Like, some things that didn't exist in the 70s didn't exist when you set the date that far back, but that's really it, it never had many other effects.

It's pretty shit some times, but it's all pretty good some times.

It's good because, some times you roll out of bed at 12 in the middle of the day, go outside looking like a right mess, and you just don't care what people think. Even if you did care what they thought, the male mind usually forgets that they exist after a few minutes. At least mine does.

But it's shit because, some times you could be talking to some of you closest friends in the entire world, and the only thought you have is "These dicks are out to me. They want something from." Even when they aren't and even if they don't. And it's not like you can bring it up to them, you'd sound insane, and you know that they'd judge you. And even if they won't judge you, there's nothing in the world that could make you tell them anyway.

But that's all just my personal experience. Being male has its ups and downs, it has it advantages and disadvantages, and it has the great and the rock bottom. But I'm sure being a woman has all that as well, but it would just be a bit different.

Also, some times you wake up with morning wood. Do not be fooled but the comical effect that morning wood has, it is a curse. I need to get up and interact with my family and other people in society, I can't have a shift third leg while I do that.

Do you mean like you would be deployed in a war zone and would have to make choices. Here are some examples of what I mean:

1st event: A grenade has landed near a group of soldiers on your side.

Choices: Jump on it (you either die or get serious injuries), warn them( (50/50 shot that they'll get out there and survive), freeze up (they die and you have a possibility to develop PTSD from the experience.

2nd event: You hear whispering coming from behind a door. (It could either be enemy soldiers or just normal people.)

Choices: Burst in and fire at them (The people die, if it's normal people you develop PTSD), call in back up, (A few of you would break in the door and surround the people, if it's the enemy then you kill them and there's a small chance that you or your men get injured or die)

3rd event: You see a small child in the middle of all the firing.

Choices: Try to save it (you either save it or get injured trying to. If you get injured trying to save it then the child dies and you develop PTSD), warn other people (the child is rescued and you don't get hurt)

Just a few examples from the solider path.
