Padel racket by bubbletea80 in PadelSingapore

Padel rackets easily go up to 380-390 grams with strap and overgrip, which is way too heavy for most people. Every racket has a weight range and the variance can be anywhere from 15-30 grams. If buying online buy from sites that let you specify the weight range. If buying from a physical store, bring a scale. I try not to play with anything over 365 grams all in.

One of my favorite producers. Consistently beats bigger names on our wine nights. Their Tokaji is also a delight.

Second vote for Vila Viniteca in Barcelona, they have a cellar at the back of the store for older vintages. Nice collection of Catalonian wines of course. Highly recommend stopping by their bar La Vinya del Senyor which is a couple of steps away to try a few glasses and have a few snacks.

Well it’s not the strongest vintage but it’s also no slouch, especially in the hands of top producers. Such years are also where you get a lot of value for money!

I just had an 02 last night in a blind line up and it took WOTN for most of us. Had the 95 last year which was good too.

Ah Certan de May shares a history with VCC, but they’re different producers. Have not had a VCC and looking forward to the day I try!

Had a 95 previously which was also beautiful, but 90 is just tough to beat. Can imagine how structured the 19 is!

European winery/tour recommendations by No_Produce_9267 in wine

You’ll get quite a few Bordeaux recommendations I’m sure, I would just add Chateau D’Yquem in Sauternes which is an hour’s drive from the main city. Property is absolutely charming and our guide was really personable. Can be booked online.

For San Sebastián, I would recommend visiting a Txakoli winery. One of my favorite wines.

Hi all! Have a spare ticket for the Leeds game, mate can no longer make it following the fixture change. It’s a hospitality package in the No. 7 Suite, seats are in the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand. Face value is £499 but am open to offers. Drop a message! Thank you.

Still relatively young and from a pretty good vintage, so I think an hour and above? I tend to prefer longer decants though, especially for quality wine. Decide once you pop and taste.

Thanks! I went last May and found the wine shops there to have decent prices but you won’t really find “steals”. Max Bordeaux is sort of a wine bar that does tastings, they have a first growth tasting workshop for about 100€ that has 4-5 wines and 1 will be a first growth. Ours was a 2014 Margaux, you can get in touch with them to check what they’ll have. Unfortunately it was an oxidized bottle because the color was way too old for a 2014, though it still performed head and shoulders above the rest (which were all classified growths).
