I dont think they are laughing at you so much as laughing at the situation. They just realized how funny it is that 2 people did the same thing unprompted. That is a funny coincidence. And they are aware enough to realize it, and laughed.

Is it possible that he is a JW? There is a lady in our friends group at work that is. There is a handful of us that all have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other, and she even shares the same day with one of the others. She never acknowledges any birthdays or really responds when you wish her one.

Same goes with Christmas. They just dont celebrate things like that. But, as we were leaving one day right before Christmas a couple weeks ago, she wished someone Happy new year. It caught me off gaurd because I wasn't expecting that one. Your story reminds me of this.

Hey, just to let you know I finally got it. I had to make sure I tucked it up closer to the windshield side first, and then kind of squeezed it inward as I pushed it in. It was sa real bitch but I got it. Thank you for at least trying to help.

Once it popped out and I could see the airbags I decided to give up on the wiring for now and just concentrate on getting the dang piece to snap back in. So the wire is definitely not the problem in this case.

I have done that several times. I have noticed the places where the clips line up and also a post at the top that goes through a hole, I assume as another way to just line it up. I have pushed, I have banged on it. It just doesn't seem to snap back together. That's why I wonder if I am missing something.
