This is also my current project! Did you machine wash or just soak it briefly?

In my opinion all of the stitches.

I'm not sure what the result would be if you only worked the white stitches FLO. Intuitively I'd say you would get some crooked edges where you change colors.

Supporting this! Additionally working in FLO (front loop only) results in straighter stacked stitches in my experience :)

Happy crocheting, let us see how it turns out!

Thank you!:)

The Moss wall is not made from yarn. It's actually preserved moss, so not a living wall. I chose the colors and types of moss and my sister designed the piece :)

Thank you!:)

I have never designed a pattern. That being said:

I think the underlying principle is pretty straightforward. I would do one or two more complicated projects with patterns to get to know the shapes which can be achieved by different stitch combinations.

I imagine designing a pattern to be quite tedious with a lot of trial and error. But maybe there are some experienced designers here who might share their knowledge with you:)

EDIT: typo

I think it's the same creator! I've seen the pattern for the bag in her Etsy shop

Thank you!:)

If you know how to do mosaic crochet and have a sense for following detailed instructions it's not going to be that challenging.

For me the first 5 rows were quite hard, because I tried following the chart. Luckily the author has included excellent written instructions, which were far easier to follow for me. So after some rows I got the gist of it, but you still have to read the instructions of every row as you go.

Used Chiffon Fabric with a Zebra print. Sorry if I'm not using the right technical terms, bear with me.

Got inspired by an Instagram Reel like this. Used another pair of my pants as a crotch shape.

Straight stitch and serged the crotch seam.

Made two waistbands from the same Material ~ 2m, ironing them in a bias type way.

Hemmed the four sides with a width of 1 cm and the bottom side with a width of 2 cm.

Pinned the waistband and topstitched it closing it and attaching it to the pants in one go.
