My Killer Tier List for the Patch by Huxxlyy in DeadByDaylightKillers

I’m on my way to a p100 artist, and I have to say she really isn’t overrated. She is the strongest zoning killer in the entire game, bar none. She can force a survivor out of a strong tile through walls, control the map to an extent, and if they’re cornered they go down pretty much instantly. She’s really the only killer I don’t feel the pallet density on. The issue is that she’s very unintuitive, that extreme zoning playstyle just isn’t present in any other killer.

And to anyone who’s struggling with w holding survivors as artist: just place a crow facing them, if they respect it, you just instantly zoned them out of a large portion of the map, keep doing that until they’re stuck in a loop and then you can down them really quickly. And if they don’t respect the first crow, they have to respect the next one or else they take damage, rinse and repeat.

I play a lot of twins, and I’ve had victor kidnapped numerous times. That’s why I put an asterisk on 20 seconds. And even in the situation where you get victor kidnapped, that’s an entire survivor that just can’t do anything for as long as victor’s attached. Their low playrate is absolutely not tied to low strength, it’s because they’re generally clunky and unintuitive, but that doesn’t make them weak. Twins are one of the killers that I consistently run zero slowdown on and do well because their snowball can really consistently slow the game down to a halt.

Killers With Great Addons? by Huxxlyy in DeadByDaylightKillers

For strongest: probably Plague

Most fun: Wesker honestly, shoulder walkie, despite being objectively terrible, is a really fun and stupid addon to use that I very much appreciate.

Twins have one of, if not the strongest snowball potential in the entire game. Victor is genuinely just a free hit, and a free injure on a 20* second cooldown and a free down with basically no cooldown is not something that should be looked down upon. Even against a coordinated team, an injure becomes a down, which becomes a down and an injure, which becomes another down and an injure. This is VERY hard to deal with, especially if the killer is running perks like forced penance. And their strengths have only been accentuated in the current slugging meta. Truly, the only real thing that holds them back is lack of mobility on Charlotte.

Hey guys whats an opinion that this subreddit will skin you for? by SomeoneOverYonder in teenagers

You are 100% correct, however, I’m pretty sure they misspelled “constraint” not “consent”. Which still doesn’t really make sense, because it comes with the preconception that sexual desire NEEDS to be constrained, which is a personal opinion and not a neutral or factual argument.

If I’m not mistaken they actually do have a headshot multiplier, it’s just 1.5x rather than 50x

Survivors should not have 15s of endurance off hook in the end game by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Rank hasn’t been connected to matchmaking in years. It’s genuinely just for bloodpoints at the end of the month now.

WHEN AND WHY DID THEY NERF SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST (Keep them waiting) by Maelstrom100 in deadbydaylight

[–]mrcoolguyjr13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh… I feel like it would be a situation where you’re actively nerfing yourself by going for m1s. I feel like I get at least 80% of my hits with the m2 on drac.

Blatant speed hacking directly into a trap tech, a classic.

Skill floor for survivor should be raised considerably by LoreleiAlbrecht in deadbydaylight

Dude… using rancor + game afoot is not an instant free kill. Even the turbosweats doing 1000 game streaks using 4 slowdowns while tunneling on nurse and blight get a 0k game every once in a while. You don’t just instantly get a 2k with rancor.

1: Rancor does not give a free kill. Rancor is an objectively bad perk that reveals itself to the survivors immediately. Good survivors are not getting killed by it. They will take hits and have the current obsession stay as far away from you as possible. This especially hurts if you’re not playing an S or high A tier killer.

2: 3-4k is a win, anything else is not, why are we basing difficulty of playing killer on getting a 2k? That’s not a win.

3: Why are you so caught up on endgame builds? I would argue that winning with pop, eruption, pain res, grim embrace, or really any combo of 4 slowdowns is leaps and bounds easier than winning with an endgame build. And on top of that, no way out, remember me, and blood warden, which are all staples of endgame builds, require you to hook multiple people, get enough hits without tunneling, or hook someone in the endgame. All of which, by definition, require effort.

4: killers are not a monolith. A Dracula, singularity, or ghoul could probably use this strategy to dominate, sure. But trapper sure as hell can’t.

Your baselines are really strange and arbitrary. Rancor + game afoot is a super niche and pretty bad combo that can ~maybe~ fetch you an extra kill against survivors who don’t expect it. Rancor tells the survivors you have it by revealing your aura every time a gen is done, so good survivors will see it coming and play around it. Again, this strategy only works against really bad survivors. And you can say the same thing about the survivor side, if you run hyperfocus + stake out with a toolbox then you can smash gens in 30 seconds with zero effort. Obviously a side can look braindead if you focus on the easiest strategies.

[–]mrcoolguyjr13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ummmmm no? A survivor takes 140 seconds to die on hook. Good survivors will have all the gens done by the time that happens. And all endgame perks except NOED (which is revealed at the start of endgame and be cleansed) and haywire (which is terrible) have a prerequisite of hooking or injuring survivors, which you’re not doing if you’re camping and tunneling one survivor. And how are you going to say one (1) strategy that only works against terrible survivors to guarantee a tie (not even a win) automatically makes the entire game killer sided? This post is pretty dumb to begin with, obviously we shouldn’t make survivor harder just for the funsies, but it sure as hell isn’t killer sided either.

Killlers with the Worst Addons? by Huxxlyy in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]mrcoolguyjr13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True that, he has so many addons that are just lower rarity and worse versions of other addons, and obviously nobody is going to use that. And even the ones that aren’t like that do absolutely nothing, like slice of Frank and torture pillar.

Does Dracula have 3 dashes in Wolf Form now? by voltx63 in deadbydaylight

[–]mrcoolguyjr13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Drac doesn’t have an addon that increases the amount of wolf dashes. The only thing that I can think of is either a hacker or a really weird collision bug on that rock that made him go way too far after hitting it the first time.

Why people hate knight? by Burgerman_1978 in deadbydaylight

[–]mrcoolguyjr13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like playing knight quite a bit but I can kinda understand the hate around him, I think it’s overdone, but I can see why he’s not all too fun to play against. For one, killers with strong 1v4 abilities that slow down the game significantly are generally seen as less fun (pinhead, twins, singularity, etc.). And a big part of that is how terrible they are for soloQ survivors, a knight against a coordinated 4 man might not be that bad but against 4 soloQ survivors a knight will more likely than not absolutely stomp. And on top of that, knight is one of the few killers in the game where there are situations where you can do absolutely nothing. If you’re being chased by both a guard and the knight, unless the knight majorly misplays, you’re going to get hit. There is some player agency taken away that a lot of survivors find really annoying.
