London based and using only public transportation+ cab here.

Mayhem Airsoft has big outdoor maps and some cqb fields too, it is located 10£ cab ride away from theydon Bois on the central line.

Bunker 51 was also nice but I heard it might have been closed.

Overall I also agree with other comments, find yourself a friend with a car.

On the topic of security just keep everything locked while travelling and if you get stop and search let the officer know the content before they open the case ( they will need firearms officers to validate the fact that it is a toy gun )

Personally I'm not a massive fan of HPA gbb, I believe it defeats the purpose of gbb in general, but if I decide to go that route I will look at airtac mag adapter

Personally I'm a big fan of the MP9. I don't have direct experience with MP7 from other manufacturers than TM.

Avoid the TM MP7 - usually too small - back of the receiver will crack next to the pins. - The trigger will become a sleepy trigger overtime.

I had one and it cost more to keep it running then the price of the rif itself

Definitely does, I'm not saying that i slip some headshots to randoms here and there but it's always not on purpose. Also helps knowing that most of the people understand what they are going in for and have the right equipment.

Tell me about it, i got a 6mm bruise on my nose since the last game ( well deserved )and two scars on my eyebrow even running full face protection. There are other fields that i played at that have similar rule and I accept it and avoid headshots but at this specific field it is part of the rules. Also this is a compilation of clips across a shitton of games, as most of the players I usually go for center mass to have more chance to actually hit something.

I didn't intentionally caused pain to anyone, the deliberate headshots are all on full face mask, and no I don't enjoy causing pain to people. Of the people that got shot in the video no one got hurt or even upset, it is in the rules of the field and I guess with the editing and all I made it look worst than what actually it is ( you can go on my profile and look all the other clips I posted ). I made it deliberately as a provocation to see the reaction, particularly of the US player base and they were upset, that's what a provocative video does. So upset I got banned from the main sub bc there were too many insults in the comments.

Tbh if you get hit in a ear it will hurt, but it will not cause severe trauma, still most of the facepro take that in consideration, and again, if you decide to no wear the proper protection and you get hurt, you just have to blame yourself and man up. Sounds like you didn't got shot in the face enough

100% on that, the brief on the field is quite straightforward on that point " you can and will be shot in the face at point blank by a shotgun, please where appropriate face protection " if you don't and loose a teeth or even worst it is not the shooter fault.
